cafe Mieriņš — Hotel in Aloja

We were having a small trip from Tallinn to Latvia to enjoy the small park nearby. In the evening we got hungry and started to search for some interesting local venue for dinner. So we found this place. The first surprise was the menu was in Latvian. Using translator in the phone made it a bit easier what we would like to order but also the girl taking orders helped us to pick. And let me tell you this. The food is amazing! I got the chicken with blue cheese and it was bakes perfectl! The amount of sauce was enough. I am not a big fan of potatoes but the amount of green salad on side was surprising and just awesome! Also I asked for the oatmeal dessert. It actually is the same as black bread one but also, it was done perfectly. Not too sweet. Overall, considering the price - 5 stars.
