Grundenberga — Hotel in Baldone

We had to find a place to stay ASAP as our plans changed spontaneously. Scrolled through Booking.com offers, and then found this place. Reserved a room, after an hour we were already there. On Saturday! (Apologies, we usually don't do that..) |But the owners were polite, friendly, gave us the keys from supercozy room with big bed, everything was clean, private bathroom, big window, they also told everything that we needed to know. The kitchen downstairs was veery beautiful - furniture, cutlery, everything seemed fresh and new. Even if this house is not too far from the road, car sounds were not disturbing, birds sang and crickets chirped anyways! Super fresh air. |Not only inside of the house, but also the yard is amazing! There is a pond, beautiful garden, all very accurate. It's easy to see that the owners really loves the place and puts their hearts in it. Great! Thank you very much! We stayed only 1 night, but it was very relaxing and positive...

We were very unpleasantly surprised to learn that our reservation is cancelled one day before planned arrival. As the reason was mentioned fact that we haven't chosen our dinner. Didn't receive any call about dinner being related to room cancelation. When we tried to call the hotel they...

Host was in eerste instantie heel vriendelijk, maar gaandeweg de week was hij heel nors. We hadden een waterkoker op onze kamer gebruikt tegen de regels in en dat wisten wij niet, ik denk dat het daardoor komt. Meerdere keren excuses gemaakt daarvoor. Helaas konden wij niet communiceren omdat hij geen Engels spreekt en wij geen Lets. Daarna heeft de host een review over mij geplaatst dat ik een racist ben en aanstootgevend gedrag zou hebben vertoond. Jammer genoeg heeft hij mij daar niet over aangesproken tijdens mijn verblijf en kon ik mij niet verdedigen of evt uitleg geven...
