We are happy to have spent a night here, so we can really appreciate home when we get there. Traveling from the Netherlands through southern Germany, to Austria and Czechia, Poland and then through Via Baltica, this one takes the cake as the worst night we spent. First we got a room that wasn't even cleaned, but luckily the receptionist fixed it by giving us another room. However, even with a clean room, one of our white pillow sheets was piss-yellow, and our bed was hard as a rock. Thankfully we had our own pillows in the car, and could use them for sleeping. Later on when we took a shower, we discovered that we didn't get any warm water, so we showered in the cold. Even later just before going to sleep our toilet began spilling water from the back of it, so that was nice also. In the next morning we woke up badly rested, hurting everywhere because of the horrible mattress. We had also woken up some times because of hearing other guests, the rooms weren't sound proofed at all. The breakfast at least was alright, not many complaints there. All in all, over 70 euros for this night was a big joke. This was a room i'd expect to pay at maximum 40 euros for, maybe closer to 35. Im quite confused by the amount of positive reviews this place has. Please avoid this place untill they fix...
Read moreDO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! The very worst hotel experience in over 30years! We woke up to no water in the hotel. So no shower, toilet or brushing your teeth. When questioned this at reception they couldn’t care less, and said the engineer should be around sometime and maybe fix it. No apology or willingness to make this issue more comfortable. When I asked for a refund they offered me a “drink of coffee” instead and just stood there with blank face, truly perplexing. They eventually transferred us to an even worse and rude branch of theirs down the road. Minuscule rooms, damage, no amenities, no side tables, not even a tea and coffee in the room. Bare wires hanging off the wall.
Truly disgusting, both the...
Read moreNothing was good except for the location and the garden. The bed was a single one, but they placed us there saying it was a double. If we were hobbits, we wouldn’t have complained. The room was so small that there wasn’t even enough space to open our suitcase comfortably. There was dust on the floor. We had to go to the reception to ask for a hairdryer — apparently, they don’t put one in the bathroom because it gets stolen; I guess they haven’t heard of the wall-mounted models. The chicken I had for dinner was quite mediocre — in fact, tasteless and had a stale smell. Luckily, there were some greens and sauce...
