Laguna House — Hotel in Garkalnes pagasts

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Laguna House, and the task was not an easy one. First, we live outside Latvia, flew in specifically for the event, and had to arrange everything remotely, without seeing the venue in person. Second, we wanted to recreate our wedding from 20 years ago. Laguna House handled this challenge wonderfully! Everything turned out just as we had envisioned. The hall was beautifully decorated, with a lovely interior. The chef did an amazing job recreating our menu from the past. Not only was there plenty of food, but there was also an abundance of it! The homemade food, fruit drinks and mors were delicious. We were given a separate fridge for our alcohol. The service was discreet — nobody noticed the staff, yet the dirty plates mysteriously disappeared from the table. The hall is spacious (for 50 people), and with 25 guests, they arranged a cozy area for us. There was plenty of space for dancing and holding contests.

I only stayed in the luxury suite, which was quite large and fully equipped. Other guests were happy with their rooms also. We especially loved the little beach nearby. The next day, we rented a sauna, located right by the river and hidden by trees. We barbecued there, and they provided us with a grill, skewers, and coal.

Жили в этом отеле с коллегами, во время образовательной программы. Отличный отель, свой маленький пляж, озеро - чистое, как и вся территория отеля, вода теплая. Есть отличная баня, смело нужно идти, не пожалеете. Сам отель, как и весь поселок, очень красивый, полупрозрачный. Номера простые, есть самое необходимое, чисто, убирают вовремя, мебель и сантехника достаточно новые, но все минималистично и просто. Много террас, балконов, уютных закутков. Рядом лес, ходили туда за ягодами, много черники.||В ресторане было 3-ех разовое питание, кормили вкусно - на завтрак выбор небольшой, но все, что было - очень вкусно. Ужин - тоже просто, но вкусно. Можно заказывать что то отдельно по меню - достаточно недорого, порции огромные. Мы брали в основном закуски - мидии, камамбер - очень достойно, десерты - отличные. ||Единственный минус - действительно далеко от города и рядом нет никаких магазинов. Либо везти все с собой из Риги, либо покупать в баре, но это, соответственно, дороже. Сюда же проблема с транспортом - везде только такси, стыковаться с...
