Overpriced and aggressive sales.
Very disappointed! Absolutely everything is wrong with this place. Let's look at all the disadvantages one by one.
1 - We ordered a so-called "Girlfriend package" - accommodation, sauna visit, massage, and hot tub—the price 200 Eur. When we arrived, the host started to offer us to choose the sauna ritual as well. We gave a strong NO response because we didn't want to go to the sauna with an unknown man. However, when we arrived, we found this man inside and naked. He told us that he wouldn't let us miss such a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the traditional Latvian sauna. The situation was awkward, but we should follow his rules. Yes, the ritual was quite acceptable, and we decided to cancel the massage.
2 - After the sauna, we decided to walk near the seaside. BUT! It is about 1 hour of walking to reach the coast. The description on the web page says that the seaside is nearby. There is no even road! You have to cross the private property to reach the beach.
3 - The positioning itself is a big issue. The website shows us a beautiful picture of the modern SPA and nice houses. However, the place itself is a huge empty space with almost no trees. The sauna - is a 100 yo barn, traditional, but not luxurious at all. It is dirty. There is no even a clean road to get to the sauna from the house. You have to go through the mud. The positioning sounds like a "forest spa." But it's not a spa. It's not even a forest. It is a kind of traditional bathing.
4 - The house. It is very tiny. The delivered bathrobes and woolen sox were dirty! There wasn't even a window curtain to protect from the morning sun.
5 - Aggressive sales once again. The host was pushing us to purchase dinner. We said - no. However, he brought us a plate with fruits and cheese and told us that he wouldn't let us stay hungry after the sauna. Act of kindness? Absolutely not!
How do you think how much did it cost of feeling uncomfortable and awkward for 15 hours? 400 euros! Yes, we wanted us to pay for all his "gifts" - sauna ritual and snacks, which was absolutely undemanded. We felt disgusted, we were cheated. All strategy of the host is cheating. Thus I don't recommend anyone to attend this place.
It was absolutely clear that his strategy is focused on the foreigners who don't understand the local prices, so it's easy to cheat them and, under the wrapping of care to lure money, make them pay more.
But I would recommend the host to give something back:
1 - to change the positioning. We wouldn't visit that place if we knew it's not a real spa and that the site looks dramatically different in pictures and reality.
2 - to make the place more comfortable for guests - some flowers or landscape design would make sense. To make a clean road and provide CLEAN bathrobes because it is disgusting as it is now.
3 - TRY NOT TO CHEAT PEOPLE!!!!
What about the positive feedback? These all are written by the host and his friends, which is also very bed, but I am not even surprised.

The host writes in the comment that we were satisfied and got a discount. But we got a 50 Euro discount just because we weren't satisfied. We payed 350, but I will remind one more time that the agreed price was 200, which is also quite expensive for...
