Austrumu Forti — Hotel in Liepaja

I stayed one night with a tent at Austrumu Forts and I am already looking forward to come back again!|The camp ground is located on a charming island (there's a bridge to the island), in the outskirts of Liepaja ca 25 min by bus from the city center.|Fruit trees and a lot of opportunities to sit, eat and relax invite you to enjoy the island. In case of bad weather a shelter with kitchen equipment is also available. Even though a larger street is nearby, the campground is quiet, peaceful, tidied up and clean and offers all usual amenities on campgrounds.|Janis has been a great and very attentive host. We came to the campsite for one night to enjoy nature and peace and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised: a large area, water nearby, a place for a campfire with logs already provided, and a barbecue. There is electricity for motorhomes, a shared kitchen, two toilets and shower, as well as a sink with technical water.

I would also like to mention the owner — a very nice person. As soon as we arrived, he came over right away, explained everything, and showed us around.

We had an overall very nice stay at the island-camping. In fact the place invites to relax, bbq, swim, ... & the view to the river is very beautiful.
