We had our wedding at Liepupe Manor on 12/07/2025, and we have to say, it was a truly wonderful experience. The venue is absolutely gorgeous: The manor house radiates a baroque elegance, and the gardens are an oasis of natural beauty and colorful charm.

Every single room was, to our knowledge, decorated, equipped, and prepared to an impeccable standard. While we only stayed in "Gustavus Adolphus" ourselves (which we would HIGHLY recommend), all of our guests were, to our knowledge, thoroughly impressed and thrilled with the luxury made available to them across both the manor house rooms and the White House.

Another high point was the pool and sauna, which was made available for the duration of our celebrations, and which were a fantastic facility to have and to offer to our guests to work into the evenings festivities.

The food was delicious, with not a bad word to say about it from us or our guests. If you are considering having a wedding here, or just visiting for a stay, we absolutely recommend you visit the restaurant or choose food from the Liepupe event menu - you will not be disappointed.

Lastly, that brings us to the service. The Liepupe staff, Dace especially, were always willing to accommodate, and the service on the day was fantastic - whatever our guests needed was always available at the time they needed it, without the service ever feeling intrusive. During the preparations the morning before, Dace's assistance as venue co-coordinator was invaluable, and helped to ensure that everything came together well and was ready to go on time.

That isn't to say there were not some challenges in the preparations. There were occasional communications difficulties and miscommunications, in particular concerning the number of guests who could be accommodated, or the exact breakdown and kinds of charges for various services - and these things did require some work to resolve. However, we would readily acknowledge that we were communicating across multiple languages and two countries, and that this will have created some extra difficulties - we would recommend that you keep all communications in writing and make sure things are kept clear.

However, these difficulties were not severe, and did not detract from our overall experience. Liepupe was a fantastic place for us to have held our wedding, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who may be considering having a wedding there - you will not be disappointed!

P.S, the lake is fantastic, but if you are there in summer -...

5STARS OR A MOTEL WITH A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN?!

Two night stay with the family. Room nr.18 (as suggested the biggest in the hotel)

  1. Minibar is absent (important ads the restaurant is closed around 21:30)
  2. 1 out of 2 TVs is not connected to anything(it is just a piece of furniture in the bedroom),
  3. flies(insects) on the floor and in the air in the middle of September
  4. smell from the shower
  5. poor internet connection
  6. one of the power sockets is open (bathroom)
  7. no individual toiletries (big bottles at the shower)
  8. absence of tea-facilities as advertised
  9. the blinds are with stains left of insects being rolled inside to death ;)
  10. the waiters are hiding from you in the restaurant during breakfast, chating in the kitchen
  11. Asked to bring some water to the room - ignored.
  12. Asked to kill the insects - ignored.
  13. Booked a specific table (in the corner) for the dinner at the restaurant - no table AT ALL when you arrive. “We can put you a table at the breakfast/kitchen room” 👺 👺👺

PS: wonderful building and well maintained beautiful garden - all is forgotten if the...

Old and beautiful this place is! The manor works as a hotel! There is a small spa area, a sauna and a swimming pool during the summer! A restaurant and beautiful premises where you can have a meal, as well as celebrate important moments in a larger company of people! The restaurant premises are bright with indescribably beautiful pot ovens! There is a beautiful manor park and a deer garden in the area! Ofcourse free parking and place where charge eletrical car!

It is a peaceful place with easy access to the long hike trail with lake view. on the top of the manor load with artifacts of the area. Unique and memorable spa experience with local grown products . The staffs were attentive. You can take cooking class for various dishes or desserts .. good for team building . I attached the photos with classic furnitures comfort linens, organic body care cosmetics.with tub and showers.

What a great place it is. This is a boutique style hotel, or a member club, similar to the Soho House. Hamam as part of SPA is what you need in a cold winter day, massage was also great. Rooms are stunning, all kept in the old fashion. Great restaurant. Staff is super friendly and welcoming.
