This is an absolutely wonderful place - quiet and peaceful, with incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious, high-quality food. The menu is small, but that’s actually a plus, as the ingredients are always fresh. Breakfast is varied, everything’s really fresh and the coffee is amazing, made by a lovely girl who clearly knows what she’s doing. This place is very different from all the guesthouses I have stayed in Latvia. Rooms have modern vibe. The biggest advantage is view to hundereds of deers. You can eat freerange wild game meat dishes in the restaurant downstairs. Also here is quality coffee available. I would return just for the atmosphere - in September off season is tranquil. Be prepared that when it is mating season deer make sounds also at night - so if you are not a nature person then this might surprise you. My sleep was undisturbed tho.
