Klaukas — Hotel in Siguldas pagasts

1.It was freezing during the night. We even used the towels to somehow warm our bodies. The info in booking page is not reality. There is mold everywhere. It smells like mold and you can see mold in the tent. There are dead mosquito bodies on the walls. 4.The info about checking in time differs. Property charges extra money for everything(garbage, car driving closer). Furniture is really old and smelly. If you move in the tent - laps falls down. 7.There are holes in carpet. 8.You cant fishing near the property. The water is not deep. 9.The stuff is not there, all the info about everything(also extra charges) will come after you book your stay and you can not cancel the stay. The road to get closer by foot is really far and if you want to ride a car - 35€. Overall, the stay was really, really bad. I would not recoment this place. I am not even sure it is healthy to stay and breath all this mold but I am sick from the temperature inside the tent. it was around 4 degrees and the ovner did not...

Completely misled by the reviews and description of the site. Was told it was a peaceful, tranquil getaway with a beautiful location and good facilities. The campsite is a nightmare to get to, down really steep slippy stairs it is poorly signposted as well. Arrived to find nobody there to greet us or tell us which tent to go to. Luckily a Dutch family helped us out. The toilet and shower is basic and disgusting with no washbasin and the kitchen facilities poor. The tent is basic and dirty with holes in the fly screen. What is even worse is we were kept up all night by loud music playing from 8pm to 5am. We were not warned about this by the owners and for fear it would happen again had to move to a different hotel. In no world could you describe this experience...

I have booked glamping for 4 people, paid in advance received confirmation letter. However upon arrival as it was later than working hours as instructed I called the host and received a surprise that the host made a mistake and there is no room for me and my friends. The host was very unprofessional considering the fact that it was 22:00 and we had no place to spend the night. Furthermore he did not aggree to provide us with any type of accomodation and did not offer any help. He even thought it was appropriate to make jokes and invite people to his place. I would never come back and not reccomend this place necause of their unprofessional behavior. I do understand everybody makes mistakes, but operating in this industry you have to take responsibility for...
