Ilga & Werner are the warmest most welcoming hosts you could possibly ask for. The house dates back to the 1500’s & they have kept it in the old style. It is simple but beautiful. We had the apartment which suited our party of 4 very well. The bathroom was superb, it had a nice big living room & a kitchen with table & plenty of cooking facilities. The views are so pretty over the gorgeous garden. Breakfast was delicious and served in the most gorgeous dining room. Plenty of choices & many things picked from their garden. We requested a special dinner on our last night & Ilga cooked us the most delicious 3 course meal (at a very inexpensive cost) served in the dining room, we had drinks on the terrace beforehand & our friend played their guitar later in the evening, a magical night! Ilga is also a qualified tour guide & took us on a fantastic & informative tour of Kuldiga, which is a beautiful town.
