We visited this resort following a recommendation from a friend who lives in the same area. The hotel is supposed to be a big thing and quite impressive due to its high location in the mountains and so called prestige. When we arrived, having struggled for an hour trying to find the resort we were accosted by up to 7 macho men all asking us questions at the same time. After some confusion and much debate, they asked us to leave our car and took it to park. The resort was closed for a private function but we were allowed to have a quick tour. The resort has a good structure but it isn't in line with the website and our expectations.the jacuzzi was off, the swimming pool had green water and was half filled since there has been some apparent rain over a week ago. ||The venue seemed over staffed and door staff at the valet were extremely abrupt and unfriendly, boarding upon scary and intimidating. ||We tried to take some pictures as the location is quite high up and meant to have spectacular views. Personally we've visited this region before and are lucky to have family friends who live here. This didn't feel like a treat. |We stopped for a few minutes to wait for a friend to meet us at this well known location, reception staff knew this and did their best to help us in a friendly and accommodating way and we really appreciated that. |However when we left, the brutish door staff held us ransom for payment before they would allow us to leave. We couldn't believe this as we had only made the mistake of trying to visit the resort based on referral and information from their website. |It just felt like one big mistake and was a shame as some of the staff were really genuine and friendly, others just felt like...
Read moreI'm sorry to write such a review for a place that I used to visit regularly. However, I had an unpleasant experience today. One, regarding the pool, I don't understand how can kids have access on the pool and the pool bar where they should be in the kids area/pool. Two, the pool was full of dirt and had nothing to be with hygienic standards. Three, how is it possible that people can swim with there clothes and shoes on!! Four, the bartender and he's the waiter actually, have no knowledge with drinks!! Where the real bartender has like 10 tasks to do and can't stick behind the bar. Five, the service was two slow and most of the waiters ignore the people when they call. Six, the food was served with no tissues and in an unprofessional way. Seven, the way to the toilet was extremely slippery where this is dangerous for customers and employees. Eight, bathrooms had no toilet papers and discusting Nine, the stock trolley was on the floor where it should be in the back area, as it was really dangerous for the kids.
This a big failure for the management for such a place that used to be always up...
Read moreWe spent a wonderful long vacation in LeHeritage resort , it’s a very nice place for families, privacy place and quiet, very clean, beautiful view, great service, professional staff, delicious food, generous breakfast , all the workers were friendly and polite. The owner very nice and down to earth. The big thanks for Mr. Wassim the manager of the resort, he treated us like a part of his family, plus he’s very professional and doing a very good job managing a great big resort like that. Overall it’s a safe place to stay in, we enjoyed our staying for 42 days and even our kids had a great time by the pool, will do it again and again every time we visit Lebanon
