Monte Bello Hotel — Hotel in Ajaltoun

To be honest, this is probably the best hotel I have ever been to in regards to service. I have been to just about every luxury chain from the four seasons to the Plaza. Now this place is not a luxury hotel, but its still very clean and nice. I remember when I was there during a low season and I was one of a few people in the hotel. I would come down stairs and the owner would greet me and get me anything within his reach. I remember he made me eggs one morning and I saw him in the back making them him self and he served me with so much pride. I really don't know how to explain it but I could see this Hotel was everything to him and making is customers happy was even more important, and to be honest after a few days i felt like this guy was my family. Let me also say i don't speak a word of Arabic. Anyway I can only say nice things...

I’ve only been to the gym, it’s has a nice vibe, plenty of parking space , almost every machine that you need is there and professional coaches.. But not always there’s hot water in the showers and you cannot take a shower at the same time as someone else because the hot water won’t work so it’s that’s a minus Once I had to go to the hotel to take a shower , the room was okay (retro vibes) as this hotel is quite old and not renovated , the tub leaked some water and my clothes became all wet😂 let’s say it was not one of my good days🥲 Not enough maintenance and the membership price increases by 5$ every few months sometimes every month so that’s also a minus Other than that you’ll feel comfortable in this gym . We had a delightful time during our entire ten-day stay. The suite was large, clean and had a large wrap around balcony that offered breathtaking views of the mountains to the east and the city of Beirut and the Mediterranean to the west. Breakfast was always great and served with a smile and personal touch. Some lovely shops and cafés are within easy walking distance. Tony and the team tended to our every need and we could see from the smiles and gestures of the other guests they were receiving the same great service. We will always stay at Monte Bello when...
