No safety as mentioned previously. No safe in the rooms and apparently the cleaner has an access to a second key! My sister's wedding was on Sunday,the party was held in the venue of Granero verde. We had 4 bungalows booked there. The next day, on Monday when they needed to pay the florist, they found out that their money (not the Lebanese) was all gone!! they called the owner, he said that the cleaner ran away. The cleaner who works in his house and who also cleans the bungalows. she comes with him in the morning and leave in the afternoon to his house (his brother is the sponsor). This incident ruined everything! and what made it worse is the behavior of the owner, who was careless and didn't even apologize! While the people from Qobayat were ashamed by what happened and showed sympathy to the couple and to the rest.The sad thing is the incident happened when we were close by the resort in a farm next door. I am sure somebody helped that cleaner to do this, either the concierge or the the new woman who started working there on Saturday and she was supposed to supervise her. A cleaner who doesn't do her job properly and she was on the phone all the time.She didn't dare to enter our bungalow bcoz we had the dog inside, she was scared of him. The amount that was stolen was 2050 usd! I will never ever go to this place anymore, and if i ever come back to Qobayat,i will stay in the Carmelite monastery (clean and safe) as recommended by locals. I’d just like to suggest that, especially for small businesses in remote areas, it's often helpful to speak directly with the owner if issues come up (even midnight). Small businesses may appreciate the chance to address concerns right away, and it can prevent surprises for future guests.

Since this property is surrounded by nature, some insects are bound to find their way in. Finding them dead could be a sign that the owner is making efforts to control them (it might raise some cleaning issues, I won't lie to you!).

I don’t know what type of insects you encountered or how significant the issue was, but it’s important to consider the impact of a 1-star review on a small business, especially one in a remote area before posting it online.
