I recently rented a place that appeared to be a hidden gem based on the pictures provided. However, the reality of the situation was nothing short of a complete letdown. I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others who may be considering staying at this location.
First and foremost, the condition of the cabin was far from what was depicted in the pictures. The wood inside was infested with mold, not only compromising the aesthetics but also raising concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property. Even the table, a basic piece of furniture, was not spared from this unsightly growth.
To add to the list of disappointments, the bathroom had an open ceiling that allowed every sound to reverberate throughout the cabin. Privacy and comfort are fundamental aspects of any accommodation, and this lack of sound insulation was not only inconvenient but also highly uncomfortable for all occupants. No one wants to have their bathroom activities broadcasted to the entire party.
Moreover, the temperature inside the cabin was unbearable. Despite the presence of an air conditioner, it barely functioned, leaving us sweltering in the oppressive heat. Once the sun made its presence known, the cabin turned into an oven, with no respite or escape from the scorching conditions. Sitting outside was not an option either, as there was no shade or any provision to shield guests from the extreme heat.
Adding insult to injury, the interior of the cabin lacked any attention to detail. The decoration consisted solely of cheap plastic furniture that one would expect to find at a dollar store. The lack of effort put into creating a comfortable and appealing environment was evident, and it further contributed to the overall disappointment.
Lastly, reaching the place itself was an ordeal. The arduous journey to get there only compounded the dissatisfaction we felt upon arrival. The inconvenience of the location, combined with the subpar conditions of the cabin, made for an overall regrettable experience.
Considering the exorbitant price of $140 that I was charged, I expected a far superior level of accommodation. The misleading advertisement, the mold-infested wood, the lack of privacy in the bathroom, the suffocating heat, the absence of outdoor amenities, and the low-quality interior decor all made this stay an absolute nightmare.
I strongly advise potential guests to think twice before choosing this property. The experience was an unfortunate waste of time, money, and...
Read moreDefinitely not worth 300$!!!!!! Even tough The outdoor is extremely nice just like pictures and The indoor is like the pictures, however the pictures do not reflect the very tiny size of the cabin which is less than a one bedroom.
They say it fits 6 people, however it barely fits 5.
The 6th person has to sleep on the sofa which is not a sleeping sofa. It does not open, it does not have sheets or covered cushions and it is not comfortable at all. And its teared. (See picture).
Moreover there is no privacy at all, it is as if all 6 are sleeping together. It is not a duplex. You can hear the other people breathing, turning sides, snoring etc…
NO AIR CONDITIONING, only a noisy fan.
No privacy! There are two big windows only one window has curtain, the light will wake u up the next day as soon as the sun rises (see picture)
In the morning we had no electricity!!! I know it is lebanon, but when you pay 300$ a night at least you can expect to have full time generator!! We had a baby and we wanted to prepare his food and we couldn’t because the cooker needs electricity and we had no lighter to turn it on since no one smokes. Since there was no electricity the fridge started leaking water (see picture)
Moreover we had medicine that needed fridge and we had to put it in the freezer.
There is mold in the ceiling and walls (see picture)
The bed sheets are not all changed (maybe because they were not used by the previous guests) and their smell is so bad.
No hairdryer, not enough toilet paper, no shampoos, no towels.
The smell of the toilet is terrible and u can smell it in the room of course since the room is extremely small.
You cannot sleep at night because of the noise coming from other chalets!
Cutlery is available for 3 people only, we had to buy our own plates and cups.
Its very difficult to get there, we understand this is normal since it is at the end of the valley, however it should be mentioned since some cars cannot make it.
There are a lot of bees (zara2et) and insects, I understand this is normal in valleys, however be prepared.
We wanted to leave in the same day and dont spend the night however we had our parents and we did not want to bother them at night and they were very exhausted from the trip.
We left at 8:20 Am in the morning!

Read moreI had the pleasure of staying at this charming chalet last night, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The bungalow was exactly as depicted in the photos - cozy and humble yet impressively clean.
What truly stole my heart was the outside space. The garden, the breathtaking views, and the inviting pool made my stay feel like a paradise found. It's a slice of heaven tucked away in a valley.
But what made this stay truly special was the warm hospitality extended by the owners. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and made me feel like a valued guest.
Although the road leading to the chalet might be a bit challenging due to its location at the bottom of the valley, rest assured that any normal car can handle it. The journey is worth every twist and turn for the experience that awaits you.
In short, I highly recommend this place for a relaxing retreat. It's a wonderful find that offers everything you need for a...
