Grey Escape Apartments — Hotel in North Governorate

What a horrible experience! First, the staff and especially the owner are very rude and disrespectful. The owner would raise his voice at me and at other students with me at the dorm. Second, additional fees were added a day or even sometimes spontaneously without prior notice. For example, I booked a double room with 2 single beds. When I reached with my roommate they told me on the spot that I had to pay extra fees if someone was in the room with me as if it wasn’t a double room. In addition, they made us pay a deposit in LBP knowing that the currency is unstable and they profited from students which makes them dirty money exchangers not student dorm owners. Third, the service was unhygienic and poor. We asked them to clean our rooms but even after cleaning they were still dirty. The WiFi was barely working and knowing that we are students we had to use our own resources for data in order to study. The heating system was on a strict schedule so we were cold most of the time even after asking them to increase hours of heating but in vain.

Upon the graduation of my daughter i needed a hotel in the vicinity, so after a long tiring ride from Beirut we reached the hotel, it was secluded , calm, serene. a private road lead to this oasis. It was A wonderful escape,the room well equipped, huge, the bed big and comfortable, a small kitchenette, a neat bathroom, a long wide window outlooking a forest of bushes, even with opened curtains you still have privacy.
