I've stayed here many weeks, on and off, and despite any comments below, I would be happy to return again.

The staff are universally helpful and friendly; always going out of their way to help and to provide a good stay - cleaning staff, hotel assistants, receptionists, up to the hotel manager, everyone is welcoming.

The hotel proper is quiet and functional; everything is clean and tidy, though the rooms are all a little tired - odd jobs here and there that need to be done (loose fittings, etc.). The common areas are bright and airy, with an appealing simplicity.

Air conditioning is good, electricity is moderately reliable with regular, brief, power outages (a common theme in this part of Lebanon in my experience). The wifi works but the internet is unreliable (again a common theme).

The à la carte menu isn't great - there's a good selection, but the quality is unreliable and it's mostly western in style; that being said, breakfasts are much better, and the Sunday banquet they put on is excellent.

The pool is small, but good enough for a few laps to keep fit.

They host regular gatherings, mostly weddings and parties, but these rarely interfered with my stays.

I've rated it four stars; I think the rooms are more three star, and other factors make up for this. I never stayed in the executive suites, so...

Disappointing Honeymoon Experience**

We booked the honeymoon suite at Lamunia Hotel, willing to pay the $300 per night rate, but were left thoroughly disappointed. Despite the high price, the photo session wasn't included, and we received no guidance during it, even though we were guests.

The jacuzzi, a key feature of our suite, lacked hot water on our wedding night, and when it finally worked the next day, it was just two hours before checkout. The advertised features like bubbles and flowers were also missing. Basic services, like providing water and tea with breakfast, required constant follow-up.

Worst of all, our complaints went unanswered. We were promised a call from the manager, which never came—20 days later, we're still waiting. Overall, our honeymoon experience at Lamunia was far below expectations. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially for such a...

Our wedding day was truly magical and unforgettable, easily the best day of our lives. Everything about the venue, the food, the ceremony, and the accommodation was simply perfect. A special thank you to Layla, who went above and beyond to support us through every step. She helped us make the right choices and was incredibly accommodating—especially when we decided to move the ceremony from the poolside to the beautiful grass field. Even on the final day, she was there without hesitation, making sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests were blown away by the stunning venue, and the entire planning process was relaxed and enjoyable thanks to the team's professionalism and attention to detail. The rooms were also spotless and cozy—an extra touch that made the experience even better. We couldn't have...

My husband and I attended a wedding there and stayed the night. We booked the honeymoon suite with the jacuzzi and sea view, they gave us the room without jacuzzi and we paid the same price as the room with it. Dust was all over the place as if it haven’t been cleaned long time ago, we found hair on the bed sheets, toilet seat was all stained with pee, no hot water for two days and they kept saying they’re fixing it so we ended up showering in cold water. No one ever apologized for these mistakes. Very unprofessional and not recommended to visit and definitely less than 4 star hotel.
