Rmeileh Resort Lebanon — Hotel in Rumayla

Rmeileh resort is a HORRIBLE place: to start with they make you sign a paper where you accept that you don't get electiricity regularly and they make you pay the full amount of your stay that is not refundable BEFORE they show you your room. Then comes the big surprise or should I say the big shock... the room smells of antiseptic and sewers, the bathroom is BARELY usable: old and rusty faucets, no hot water and no water pressure. The wc has no seat and the electical wires have no protection. ||Let me tell you more: you get no toilet paper nor any soap not even towels if you don't ask for them; and when you finally get some towels they are too small and have betadine spots on them. But what is even worse are the bed sheets: when we removed the cover to sleep we found a BIG PATCH of "something" in the middle of the bed! 🤮 when I complained about it to "room service" or what looks like it, the lady claimed "it's only an oil stain that could not be removed by washing"... when I insisted, I finally got a cleaner sheet. Unfortunatly to add to our misery, we couldn't sleep that night because of horrible music playing on loudspeakers until 3 AM. Let alone the cockroach that ran across the room. We couldn't listen to the TV , we could hardly hear ourselves talk. On the other hand, looking at the pools, you get nauseated: the water there is so unclear and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages...||Finally when we decided to leave the place without commenting, they refused to refund the extra money we had payed but still gave us a card giving us the right to come back any time we felt like it... seriously, who in his complete mind would want to go to...

We arrived at the hotel and requested a room. Upon entering, the room was dirty, so we waited outside while they cleaned it. Even after the cleaning, the room was still not up to standard—the bathroom was unsanitary, and the bedsheets smelled as though they had been used. After booking the room, we asked for water and quilts. They brought us two bottles of water, but charged us for them. The quilts they provided were dirty, unfolded, and wrinkled.

After all of this, we decided to cancel our reservation and leave—this all happened within just 15 minutes. The hotel staff informed us that we could not receive a full refund, as the transaction had already been processed in their system.
