Portemilio Hotel & Resort — Hotel in Sarba

Staying in Portemilio hotel is one of the worst thing you can ever do, after addressing these issues several times we decided to write this review and list down our whole experience in bullet point to make it easy on you.|| ⁃ if you rent a car (as a guest staying in the hotel and not as a visitor to someone in the hotel) you will have to pay for the parking as its not included. this shouldnt be the case in a so called 5 star hotel (this was addressed to the front desk guy and he said that the parking is a different company than the hotel, still it doesnt justify)|| ⁃ The first night, we were given a room located directly next to the chiller and we couldnt sleep from the sound (like a generator sound) then after complaining, Mr. Fadi the front desk manager was professional and kind enough to give us another room|| ⁃ The wifi is terrible. what kind of 5 star hotel does not have a proper wifi? We couldnt even check our emails, i suggest to the hotel management to mention that wifi is not available (to that extent it is bad. We addressed this issue every single day and the front desk guy finally said that the problem is from our phone not connecting properly, (iphone X) )|| ⁃ the room we stayed in the first night ddnt have a water kettle, what kind of 5 star hotel does not provide that? || ⁃ the worst of all was beside the whole stay that the room service guy when he came to clean and fix the room (2nd room we moved to) instead of replacing the used coffee cups, he washed them in the bathroom. who does that Infront of the clients?||We booked in Portemilio because its a well known fancy resort but frankly speaking we wouldnt do it again even if it was for free. |It is very much overpriced for a 5 star hotel wannabe. It is not even reaching the 3rd star ! ||P.S: Mr. Fadi the front desk manager is a very professional, proactive personnel, but, what more can he do when the top management of the hotel itself does not care about improving the guest experience and the...

This place doesnt deserve a 1 rating it deserves a 0.

Housekeeper stole $800 AUD out of my bag, the manager didnt care, there was no apology, no refund and they forced me to check out without apologising to me and/or returning the money they stole from me.

Service was shit, the housekeeper went into our room even though the do not disturb sign was on the door, all she did was make the beds - she didnt clean the bathroom, there were no towels, no toilet paper, bins were full of rubbish, basins in the bathroom were dirty, no water. On top of that I booked a deluxe suite mountain view room but got given a 2 single bed room with no view, no kitchen, not even power points to use our straighteners or charge our phones. The wifi was crap, kept cutting out the whole time. The room didnt even have the bare minimum stocked in the room.

Room was booked with breakfast included, they still charged me extra for breakfast and the breakfast was cold and disgusting.

Still waiting for the General Manager Kamel to apologise and give me back the $800 AUD they stole from my bag. Has been 5 days since we filed the incident and the General Manager Kamel has been ignoring my calls, ignoring my messages, ignoring my emails and refuses to give me a copy of the incident report. He begged us not to go to the police and to let him do the investigations, so we gave him a chance to prove himself but all he proved is that he is a LIAR and isnt interested in helping us at all!
