Iris Flower Hotel — Hotel in South Governorate

The room was clean and confortable, the place itself is very quiet and we enjoyed a lot sitting on the balcony.||||On the other hand, the hotel is empty, no coffee, no restaurants, the lobby is very poor and the "extras" inside rooms (like tooth brush, disposable footwear, mini bar, etc.).||||The breakfast is extremely poor and unorganized, they need to improved it dramatically with the rich Lebanese options. An annoying thing we faced that no tags where placed on the food, so if someone is allergic, he risks to get in trouble. in our case, and despite that my wife is wearing the Islamic scarf, the room service served us the breakfast with pork meat ! I eat without noticing but I felt suspicious, and by contacting the service boy I knew that it's really a pork for sure! that was really annoying and unprofessional in terms of not identifying the food in one hand and not respecting the privacy of the customers...

The staff is very friendly helpful nice and respectful- the location is nice with great view of the town- rooms are clean and great size- we stayed in the family suite 2 rooms one king bed and 2 double beds. Price in March 2020 for the suite was 200,000 lbp. The worst part was the mattress in the king Bedroom. The worst I’ve ever seen — me and my wife still suffering from the back pain after 4 days- once you lay on it you can feel the mattress springs punching your back - room 402 - I needed to take a shower but no hot water at all - power went off for few minutes at midnight so room heater cut off and won’t start back on no matter what I tried . In the morning room was chilly. I don’t think I’ll repeat this experience when I’m back in...
