Visited on 2nd January 2024. Restaurant decor and menu were inviting BUT the service was terrible despite us being the only customers. First, the drinks took an age to arrive (they had to be fetched from the bar building a walk away). When they arrived there was one drink short. No apology, no indication how long it would take to rectify. Another long wait then only two of the three identical meals ordered arrived with no indication (or appropriate apology) that the third would be coming considerably later. With the first two getting cold, and getting fed up waiting, we went to the kitchen to find out what was going on; the third meal was only just being prepared. Asking for an explanation for why the three meals were not prepared simultaneously and for the lack of communication was first met with silence. The waitress maintained the same glum face she had shown from the start - then rudely suggested that the cook would probably have no reason to offer either.
