Muontis — Hotel in Šilalė

Most unusual thing is that the only person I met during my stay was kitchen lady during the breakfast. Otherwise the place is set on self-serving: door code was sent by text message, key card was in a box (box number and code also sent by text message), when leaving I had to throw the card in the good-bye box. Of course, there was a phone number provided for any problems or emergencies. Hotel itself is very new and clean and comfortable, too. Also very well situated – in the centre of Šilalė town, with several eateries and food stores close by and very nice area for evening work. Breakfast is very good and unusually varied for such small establishment.|Negatives? Could not find any serious. New hotel with poor service standards! Upon arrival at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, self-check-in system, tasteful decor, and adequately spacious rooms. We were also pleased to receive a message from the hotel administration stating that breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi were all included in the price of our room. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a false promise. When we went to have breakfast in the morning, an employee informed us that breakfast was not included in our stay.
