motel PANORAMA — Hotel in Aukštelkė

Pretty nice room with adequate item pack. Room and terrace view was ok, but barely with a lakeview as marketed. Considering cons, the room for two people only had one cup. Having 27° outside temp., the room floor was freezing cold and no disposable slippers were present. Also, the need for fireworks, exactly at midnight, 10m from the room was a really anoying thing to see and hear for 10 minutes. Car and the surroundings were covered with firework trash after it. Terrace had really poor quality planks, and it was really easy to injure feet as some of us already did. Breakfast was the best part, as it was delicious. Too bad, waiters bearly spoke...

The best after not a very great experience in the room where we have stayed with blocked sink and shower , a few spots of blood on a bedspread was the restaurant! The food was delicious and the service there was supper great! We have stayed one night from 25-26 Dec. There was only one lady sorting the restaurant and the reception, i think it’s not fair on people leaving them alone to work so hard! Even we had a room in the little house outside near the road there was no problems with noise. Cleanliness in the room was okay, except that bedspread with a few spots of blood. Very happy with the motel in terms of location and room. Right next to motorway but still quiet enough for a good nights sleep, also felt very safe. There was no staff on site and the restaurant was closed, we did receive an email with self check in instructions that morning which we had not checked upon arrival, phone call with hotel was very difficult as call handler had very little English. Instructions on email clear, however the key pad did not work greatly and it took us multiple attempts to open the door. Not great situation when no staff on site and person on phone does not...
