I had booked three nights to stay here, left after one!!!||Terrible customer service, when we came in, we had to wait for a couple minutes while the staff will finish to talk with each other, we’ve been served by the lady which was in training (also there was two other ladies, one of them was not polite at all, as I can guess that she was the boss there. my friend asked didn’t we paid? as she had thought that when she had sent her bank details, she had been charged, the lady answered no, it is going to be charged now, then my friend apologised because she thought in a wrong way and just wanted to double check, and the lady sarcastically repeated her words ‘oh didn’t we paid?’ and started to laugh, it made us feel horrible... ||they started to put our information in, it took very long (as the staff member was in training) so we went to grab our luggage, came back and they still was working on it. It took about 40-50 minutes all together, because the new girl was doing all the registration by herself. she didn’t asked and also didn’t received any help, even she was obviously struggling with that! I believe if the fully trained person would be next to her it would took about 15 minutes to be checked in. As we got the customer cards no one even lead us to the room, (lady didn’t even know where is the room) she just said there is the lift, third floor, you will find it by yourself. Also she explained that the pool is opened in evening, and in the morning time, but probably you not going to use it as YOU ARE TO YOUNG TO BE ABLE TO WOKE UP and go the morning one, haha. Thats it, no more information about anything. In the late evening we sorted out that there is the leaflet with prices of procedures, as we didn’t got any information from reception. We took it by ourself, then the next day we went to register for all the chosen procedures, AND WE COULDN'T GO TO ANY OF THERE, because you need to go to see the doctors first (15€) and just then start to choose the procedures (even as mud bath, relaxing massage or psychologist). In one word - you just need to have an extra extra extra €€€. Then we realised that we can’t actually do anything here apart laying down in the bed all day for ~300€, we packed our bags and went to do the check out at the reception. When its been done she asked us why are we are rushing (as we supposed to check out only on friday) we explained her that we can’t stay here longer as we paid loads of money for absolutely nothing (one night in a box size room, pool and lunch buffet) then she printed us about 3xA4 sheets with free activities here! Only after we decided to leave! Also she didn’t even mentioned about any refund back before we kindly asked her is the any way to get the money back? She just said not really, and then realised that actually she can||Overall, Thanks for discriminating young adults, it felt like we shouldn’t receive a...
Read moreI enjoyed my time and the procedures at Egles Sanatorija in Druskininkai. It was my second time there and I will go again. The rooms were good and quiet, most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent with many choices.
But, you really missed a great opportunity to excel in customer service. Multiple languages (Lithuanian, Russian, English, and German) are scattered about your documents and signs around the facilities. I'm only fluent in English, although I know some Lithuanian and very little Russian. My schedule was printed in English so I'm certain that was how I'm flagged in your computer system. At almost every procedure I went to, I ended up with a technician that did not speak English, or their English mirrored my skill in Lithuanian. We made it work. For a few of the procedures I ended up with someone that only spoke to me in Russian and that left us with using simple hand signals. We made it work, but there is your missed opportunity. You have in the computer that I speak English, so you should have paired me with someone that spoke English, or would speak to me in Lithuanian. We were in Lithuania, so I expect to hear the Lithuanian language by default! I appreciate any opportunity I can get to practice my Lithuanian usage so I can build confidence in what I do know of the language. How else can I learn it? I don't want someone talking to me in Russian in the hopes that I figure it out or else. So I always responded to them in Lithuanian. I actually had one nurse tell me, in Lithuanian, that I needed to learn to speak Lithuanian. I understood her and well, yes, I agree, and I was trying. The unfortunate thing, for the nurse, was that my wife was in another room nearby and had heard her. My wife was not happy!
I look forward to my next time staying with you and hopefully, we have both improved by...
Read moreJust came back from Egles Sanatorija, Druskininkai. I spent there two wonderful weeks (mid-July) and received exactly what I was looking for - total relaxation and fantastic healing treatment.
Special thanks go to Vadim Pavachka! After Vadim's massages, my back feels a million times better. It was so great to find a specialist who loves what he is doing and is truly interested to help his clients get rid of all those painful nodes. My 14-hour flight back was a breeze after his treatment, unlike the original.
I stayed at the Egles Standard, building A. My room, for single occupancy, was comfortable and clean. No air conditioner, but I never needed it, even though there was +31C for a couple of days. I found my room's location very convenient with a few minutes walk to all the necessary amenities. The surrounding forest is so magical. Highking trails around the sanatorium are very nice and tranquil. I enjoyed a few of them.
The food was very good with a large variety of choices. My only regret was that I couldn't resist tasting more than I should have. So, self-control would be needed if your goal is to lose weight.
Feeling blessed to have this experience and look forward to more...
