Prie Klykio Manor — Hotel in Utena County

We stayed at Prie Klykio Manor for two nights and regretted our choice. The location is nice on a wooded lot near a lake, but that was about it. ||||The hotel is 'far away from everything' and the last km is a very bumpy earth road (no gravel, probably difficult on rainy days). We had a so-called bungalow, which was supposed to be self-catering. The bungalow was VERY small, without chairs, just a fold-out couch which served as the single sitting and sleeping option (unless you want to climb a VERY steep ladder and hit your head on the roof when you get up from the mattress - no bed). The 'kitchen' consisted of a fridge and a sink. To sleep you have to make your bed first. There is no service, no food - except beer, which you can get in the 'lounge'-building. ||||Access to the lake (which is possible in three places) was blocked by guests who stayed closer to the lake and considerd it 'their' place.||||There is no Wifi and no information about anything. The nearest restaurant is a pizza place in Utena (7 km away), where you can also find supermarkets. ||||The price we were charged was too high for what we got. The hotel only accepts cash - no cards whatsoever - preferably without a receipt, as we were told several times. ||||We were...

Pirmą kartą teko dalyvauti šventėje, kur šeimininkas kartu su svečiais gertų alų :D Viduryje šventės pagrindinėje salėje buvo užrakinta virtuvė, todėl po 22 val. papildomo šaukšto nebuvo įmanoma gauti. :D Ryte pagrindinėje salėje nebuvo galimybės pasigaminti pusryčių – teko su puodais lakstyti po namelius. Didžiausias nemalonumas – kaina galų gale buvo paskaičiuota dvigubai didesnė, nei buvo sutarta iš anksto. Pridėti papildomi mokesčiai už malkas, įrankius ir kitus dalykus, apie kuriuos nebuvo informuota iš anksto. Nors buvo leidžiama atsivežti augintinius, niekas neperspėjo, kad sodyboje laisvai laksto šeimininkų šuo. Atvykus teko patiems ieškoti, kur apsistoti, šeimininkas tik iškišęs nosį pro duris sugebėjo kažką paburbėti. Ežeras - dumblėtas su daug žolių, tai po pirties menkas malonumas lysti į tokį. Daugiau čia tikrai negrįšime (nors sodyba ir graži) ir kitiems nerekomenduojame – norint išvengti nemalonių staigmenų, geriau rinktis kitą vietą, jei norite sklandžios...
