We spent three nights here and had a good time overall. The campsite enjoys a stunning location right on the river — perfect for anyone who likes to start the day with birdsong and a view. It’s also great for walking and cycling, and the morning bread roll service from reception is a lovely touch. Nothing like a fresh crusty roll to start the day.

That said, it’s not exactly our kind of camping spot. The pitches are small and wide open, with no hedges or dividers — so if you're dreaming of a little private haven, you'll need to bring your own hedge. The layout creates a sort of “campsite boulevard,” with pitches lined up on both sides of a street. It’s friendly, yes, but also a bit like breakfasting on stage — as you sip your coffee, your (probably Dutch) neighbours are doing the same, just three metres away, looking right back at you.

Privacy is in short supply, and walking to the washrooms means parading past the full audience of fellow campers. You may feel seen, or you may feel scrutinised — depends on your mood (and your pyjamas).

Speaking of the washrooms, the ones near reception could do with a bit of pressure… literally. The water pressure is so low that the showers are more of a gentle drip than a wash, and toilets can’t always manage a second flush — which can get awkward fast.

Still, the location is lovely and if you enjoy a sociable, open-plan camping experience, this place might just be your thing. Just don’t forget to wave to the neighbours — they’re...

Although the campsite is in a great location, it is the worst site we've stayed on. We were absolutely crammed in with other campers/caravaners. ||We booked and paid for a fully serviced pitch, although we couldn't use this facility as it would have meant other cars would have to drive over the pipes to access their pitch.||The pitch itself was tiny, they advertise a 10x10m pitch although ours was no more than a usable 5x9. Which meant we had to park the car away from the pitch. Other vans were so very close to us and each other.||When we sat outside of our caravan, we felt completely hemmed in.||I feel that the site has crammed as many vans and motorhomes on the site and has become very greedy. ||We don't...

We had a 2 night stay and we enjoed our time here. The site is open and the pitches aren’t a bad size. The whole siteis next to a river and it is very praceful and quiet with cows in the field behind. Bus stop5 min walk and like all luxembourg is free. The staffarefriendly and helpful and thereis a nice bistro/bar, best advice is to book a table as it got really busy. Facilities overall were good but showers were cold first thing in a morning for some reason. A lovely site to stay and we would use again.

On the banks of the river Sûre, a beautiful site with two sanitaire blocks, small shop and on site restaurant that must be visited if you stay here. The pitches are a good size and within easy reach of the facilities blocks. The block in the centre of the site is a little more European in its approach to showering with a communal drying area. The restaurant needs to be visited. It is better to book as it gets very busy. The setting, the service and the food are all very good.

Ettelbruck was our first stop on our way to south and we stayed for a couple of days. The location is pretty urban but green. Clean, well organized camping. You can online reserve the pitch you would like to stay on. The hillside pitches have lovely green views. River side is not that impressive. Be aware that if you choose towards the end of the camping, you need walk 5mins to reach the facilities. There is toilet paper, soap and warm water available.
