Hotel Simon's Plaza — Hotel in Grevenmacher

We had a fab two day visit here. We arrived late afternoon and the check in was swift and friendly. We were advised the Brasserie was opening at 6pm so we sat outside and had delicious food and drink. Great service. Lovely breakfast in the mornings and same attentive service for hot drink choice and cooked foods on the weekday. Room was large, comfortable and clean with great extras like soft drinks, Haribo, toiletries and kettle. Really glad we changed from a Lux city centre hotel to here as it meant we visited local villages like Remich and Echternach. Also close enough for us to go to Lux city for dinner....

What a nice, neat and well-kept hotel. Nice atmosphere and definitely clean. Super nice reception and service. There is a snack bar / restaurant downstairs where you can eat something and also very satisfied with that. ||The breakfast was definitely more than adequate. Plenty of choice and plenty of stock. Room was medium sized and fully equipped. Lovely bed and nice shower. How nice that you can enjoy what is in the minibar for free. Just that extra attention that a visitor enjoys. I'd love to...

The place is clean, but is far far far away from what I expect from a 4 star hotel. I get an old, threadbare, gloomy room... it seems the bed is lacking the sheets... or maybe they call sheets this cover for mattress. oh... do you want to talk about the down bedding? Yes, I am using a double as a single room, but what does it cost you to put a double down bedding? Don't forget to eat before coming to the hotel, because after the 22.00 you can't even ask for an hamburger at the bar... thumb down...
