Hôtel Moris — Hotel in Walferdange

Das Hotel hat zwei Nachteile. Nachteil - es liegt direkt an der Hauptstr. . Ab 05.00 wird es laut, wenn die Fenster offen sind. Im Sommer entweder oder... Auch die Zimmer nach hinten sind sehr laut. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, muss man das leider ertragen können. Im Zimmer gab es zwei Stand Ventilatoren. Dazu kommt der Kirchturm direkt gegenüber. Wer Ruhe gewohnt ist ... War uns viel zu laut.

Nachteil 2 das Frühstück. Entsprach bei uns einem Jugendherbergen /Kantinen Frühstück in der Darstellung und in der Auswahl: 2x Scheiben Wurst 2x Käse, Brötchen, Croissants ,Toast, Verpackte fertig Waffeln. Nur Filterkaffee und kein Frühstücksei. Weder Rührei noch gekocht. Ein wenig Müsli, Marmelade Nutella.Milch, Saft. Alles überschaubar und wenig als Variation. Hat was von Kantinen Frühstück Flair. Schade. Bei 158,00 hätte ich mehr erwartet und da kennt man besseres mit mehr Auswahl

Vorteile: Sehr sehr freundliches Personal, große helle und saubere Zimmer. Für 3 Personen ! Fam.mit Kind. Kostenlose Parkplätze. Gut einparkbar. Guter solider Italiener für abends gegenüber.-)la ciociara- faire Preise für Luxemburg gut Pizza!

Gute Lage! Mit dem 11 oder 111 Bus / 100 Meter links neben dem Hotel, ist man in 20 Minuten kostenlos an der Haltestelle Centre Badeanstalt. Von dort aus kann man gegenüber direkt in die Oberstadt gehen. Es beginnt da direkt die Fußgänger Zone mit zahlreichen Geschäften, Kaffees usw.. Bis zu den Kasematten sind es ca. 17 Minuten. Ich würde als Ziel den Bockfels angehen. Die Stadt von oben nach unten erkunden.

Der Weg durch die Oberstadt ist sehr schön. Dort würde ich für den ersten Kaffee Stop. Das Kaffee Konrad empfehlen, von dort weiter zu den Kasematten /Bockfels gehen. Die Besichtigung der Kasematten ist da möglich. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist dort aber auch schon einzigartig. Von dort oben mit Blick auf den Grund, nach rechts gehen und den ersten Abgang zum Stadtteil Grund nehmen. Dann unten am Fluß durch den schön Stadtteil Grund nach links laufen. Am Ende kommt man an der Brauerei big Beer raus. Guter Stop für ein Essen. Von dort wieder den kostenlosen Bus in die Innenstadt (ca. 10 Minuten) nehmen und die Unterstadt / Innenstadt erkunden. Ich würde nicht hoch laufen. Kraft sparen. Der Bus ist kostenlos und fährt in die Stadt. Wir würden das Hotel nicht empfehlen. Frühstück ist uns sehr wichtig und die Lautstärke ist grenzwertig. It was the end of the day and nearing Luembourg city. As the center tends to be expensive (hotel + parking) we looked for a hotel within the outskirts and fell on this hotel.||||There is free parking available on the side road (beside the building + the church next to it (as there was construction work being done at the back of the building).||||Although the bedroom decor is a bit outdated, it was very spacious with a large sitting area next to the coffee table. Very nice hotel. They provide the same great quality since I first stayed there back in 1999. It is a kind of boutique hotel, not so many rooms. Prices are reasonable. Family friendly. Perfect location if you need to commute to mid and north part of the country, as you will be close to Lux city, but will avoid traffic. You do not need a car to go to Lux city center (use the bus. The stop is almost in front of the hotel!). The hotel is at a very old but well maintained building. Nice chocies for breakfast (egg, cereals, chese, jam,etc) and their restaurant is a common dining place for locals, especially seniors.
