Borneo Tree House — Hotel in Borneo

Interesting place but needs a lot of improvements and repairs. For a room of rm300++/night, there is no free drinking water, coffee powder or tea & bath soap/shower gel/shampoo. There is a water heater but glasses are not provided. The bed is clean and comfortable, hot shower, sat-tv is available, but the aircond is not cold & auto-off by itself. The windows in the toilet need to be closed better for privacy & security factors.🧐 Room booking includes breakfast but breakfast is only available until 9am. Cafe opens at 7.30am, therefore for free breakfast, only 1 and a half hour is allowed. Goodbye to those who wake up late 😂. Had my breakfast at 9.20, and what to do lah, counter staff did not informed me during check in and I also forgot to ask. (Usually breakfast starts at 7 to 10 am in other places). The cafe provides many types of cuisine & the food is good. Swimming pool is ok & pool water filter is installed. During my visit, there was a wedding ceremony held there and some guests jumped into the pool before going home. There may be a need to build a fence to separate the hall from the guest room or more easily a guard at the swimming pool. Overall, an interesting place but not in my 'will come back again' list 😂 FREE WIFI - network quite bad here. P/s: during check-in I have to call the registration counter worker at the cafe and then go back to the counter because they are busy fighting...

Terrible Maintenance! I have been this place on 2017-2018 The place was awesome before! But last day i go there 24/04/2022 The place is terrible. Not clean! No Water Supply! Room was dusty and smell terrible! (We check every room) Except 2 room that have guests inside. The walkway wood also not safe! Don't ever let any kids walking alone on the walkway.. wood are too old.. not been changed! Lamp on bed room also need upgrade.. It's too dark!

For the Open hall outside the grass not even being cut.. the drain is clogged. The tent is really old mouldy and not clean! The facility is mostly wood.. very old.. never been maintained. it just going to collapse any time 😂

For the big hall building. The tiles is cracking if you walk inside you can hear cracking and feel the floor is not flat, space is dirty, the window curtain is never been washed, got spider web also. Back space got corridor the place is dirty!!!! Never been cleaned. Ceiling is dirty.. Outside grass is going wild..The front stairs is dirty never been sweep..Front door also dirty. Grass is getting higher.

Overall dirty! You wont be satisfied! If you are planning to do event there.. Don't ever do.. You pay expensive package but...

Very bad experience here! Very bad. Before check in, i call them and asked about the breakfast that included with the booking. They said 'ala carte'. Never mentioning that the menu is Maggie kosong + teh o/ kopi O. Ya Allah seriously??? Staff restaurant cakap, kalau serve selain maggie, diorang akan rugi. Ya Allah?? Hostel pun bagi at least bread and sosej tau. Sudahlah the staff open lambat sejam lebih!! After my husband sampai tinggi suara, minta maaf ke mereka dan bagitahu tidak puas hati. They cook mee goreng + sawi + telur mata dengan rasa marah, the woman staff membebel bebel. Ya Allah. Then while we eating, ada family datang. Mereka terus cakap hanya ada pilihan mee goreng dan telur mata. Tidak pula di mention set breakfast tu maggie kosong dan teh o/kopi o. I really like to see their reaction! Crazy. My suggestions kepada staff restaurant, go work di kedai lain. InsyaAllah lebih menguntungkan, if you want to stay there, plan the affordable menu. Janganlah serve maggie kosong. Tidak masuk akal.

Lokasi, far from everything. Not wheelchair friendly obviously. Pool biasa ja. Nothing interesting.
