If you love coffee, most probably the one you are enjoying every morning in Sabah is coming from Tenom

• Known as the coffee capital of Sabah, Tenom's hills are surrounded by coffee plantations

• The most famous producer is Fatt Choi, founded by Mr. Foong Choon Seng in 1986

• The location of this cafe, up on the hill, provides a spectacular view over Tenom and Padas River

• The cafe is not that special, and there are a few cabins providing food options, but nothing fancy

• Even from the main street you can see the huge sign with Fatt Choi, but the vivid colours and the Chinese letters make you instantly remember you are not in Hollywood

• You can have a walk even upper on the hill for a better view, but there's no shade so it's almost unbearable on a hot day

• The entrance fee is 2 RM per foreign adult

Come in during the nighttime. For having a family dinner. Kinda disappointed big time. The food kinda not prepared well. I had order fish and chips. Its taken long time to arrive and service kinda poor. Even worse, my fish had arrived but missing the chips. 😑 The taste wise kinda OK but some are too cold for a hot menu especially the fish kinda hard to cut. The stairs going up to the tower are climbing Hazzard. It's too steep and poorly lighted. Thank to that, I trips due I miss the steps. Hardly see the stair when it's had the same color with the wall and floor. A lot need to improve especially on the foods and cleanliness specifically the toilet. Anyhow the view are beautiful and there's some accommodation which are bamboo theme. The view of Padas's River (Sungai Padas) and the bridge are wonderful. Well recommended to visit for...

Lets start with the rooms. At RM110 per night, its totally worth it. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. They gave 4 bottles of water and an array of coffee sachets. All were different types and all can be bought at their shop. This is how you do marketing. The room comes with a pantry too.

There is a dedicated space for people to gather and purchase their coffee drinks. It's not their normal coffee but specialty coffees such as latte and mocha. Slight pricey but not bad. Please do not order the cocoa drink. The gathering place is also near the edge of the hill, fantastic view as you sip away coffee. Did i mentioned u have a view of the town and the river?

There is a hill side area to take photos too. You can have a full view of tenom town from up the hill. Do bring family there for a good...

This guesthouse is located high in the mountains, and its large signboard is visible from a distance. There is an entrance fee of RM2, though this is waived for guests staying there. Check-in and check-out were simple and straightforward. The peaceful atmosphere is a highlight, and with only a limited number of rooms, the environment remains quiet and restful. Though the room is not very spacious, it is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The shower's water heater functions reliably, providing a consistent supply of hot water. A hidden gem worth exploring is the hill behind the property, known as "Dawn of Tenom." It’s a nice surprise! And if you hike up early in the morning, you may even catch the sunrise. While you're there, be sure to try the local coffee - it’s a must!

Peace, calm, and warm place you must visit!!! The place was quiet good. It is located on a hill in which you cam see the view of the village and also the river (pardon cause i don't know the rivers name). It quiet good to stay at night due to the cold weather. The resort also provide a homestay in which you can bring your family. There is also selling food and drinks there. By the way, you guys must try the tea latte and teco chocolate if am not mistaken. If you guys stays overnight here, you guys better bring your slippers for those who wear shoes. Don't miss out the Temom Coffee!!!
