Friendly Hotel Sdn. Bhd. — Hotel in Borneo

1st time to Kudat and Sabah so not knowing what to expect or standard of accommodation- did lots of reviews and was happy with our choice of Friendly. We drove into town and plenty of parking available at the front of the hotel. Group of 5 of us (old schoolmates of 60 years+ !) on a reunion tour! Friendly Hotel is around 3kms from the “old town” where the shops, seafood restaurants, markets and most of the shopping are although took us no more than 15 mins to get there. A straight and easy drive. Again, am glad with our choice of accommodation at Friendly – clean with amenities we needed, large bed, hot shower and local coffee shops (enough for basic meals). (I struggled to find accomm in the “old town” that met our “expectations”). We opted for deluxe rooms which were ok for us although didn’t have minibar (only available for the next higher style room on the top floor with great views of the sea but almost twice the price; we were only there for the night so were happy with our choice of rooms.) Definitely recommend staying and we would too, as long as you have a car so driving around and parking...

Stayed at Friendly Hotel in Kudat, and honestly, it’s the best ❤️ Super clean, like, 100% spotless. Even their newspapers smell fancy, like the ones from Suria Harbour 🥹 It’s a no-smoking hotel, so the whole place smells fresh and nice. Staff are really friendly, even the security guard! I asked them to leave a birthday card for my partner, and they went above and beyond. Seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart❤️ It’s the little things that make this place special. You’ll see what I mean when you stay here. I’ve been working in Kudat for six years, and this is hands down the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed...

I was told that this hotel is one of the newest hotel in kudat. Despite being stuck because of the flood me and my little family impressed with the hotel facilities, ambience and services. SUNDAY is i think the worst night day in kudat though 😂 not so many restaurant is open eventhough kudat esplanade is closed! Hotel cleanliness is 9/10 the room is spacious compare then the room we booked at the KUDAT Marina golfglub TV channel is full 10/10 good compare the golfclub resort 🙈 the rooftop is amazing!
