As a mom traveling with a baby, my stay at the Marudu Inn Hotel in Kota Marudu was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. The staff's friendliness and willingness to assist us made a big difference in our overall impression of the hotel. It was reassuring to know that there were people who genuinely cared about our comfort and well-being during our stay. However, I did find that the room we were assigned was on the smaller side, making it a bit cramped with all the baby gear we had to bring along. It would have been more convenient if the room had a bit more space to move around with a stroller and other baby essentials. In addition, the walls in the hotel were a bit thin, as I could hear someone snoring in the next room. The noise from the traffic outside was also quite loud at times, making it difficult for my baby to nap peacefully. I found myself wishing that the hotel was more soundproof to provide a quieter environment for families with young children. Despite the minor inconveniences, the positive interaction with the hotel staff made up for it. Their attentiveness and politeness created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home. Overall, the Marudu Inn Hotel was a decent option for our short stay in Kota Marudu, but I would recommend it more for solo travelers or couples without young children. Families with babies or toddlers might find other accommodations in the area that cater more to their needs and offer a quieter and more peaceful environment.

Not sure if the hotel is new or they just recently renovated. Really nice rooms and amenities. Everything is brand new. Clean, comfortable bed and pillows. They even provide hand towels. Location is great. Lots of eateries surrounding the hotel. Easy parking. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights for business trip. Staff is very friendly, facilities very clean and comfortable. There is an in house restaurant, Sky Cafe. Down side parking spot is limited. Overall experience 10/10.
