J Guest House — Hotel in Borneo

Just a bit over two hours drive from Kota Kinabalu to a small town of Kuala Penyu lies a great place to spend quality time with family members or friends as it have 5 big rooms and large area where one can always pitch their tent.

Awesome view of the sunrise and sunset. It is situated on a hill right next to the sea. One can walk down to the beach which is no more than a hundred metres from the house.

Great hospitality from the owner and the caretaker. The rooms is well maintained and clean. Surely will come back and stay here...

House provided is large for big family, we had a wonderful time here and owner is very accommodating. There is a walk way to the seafront area where you can immerse yourself with the seafront experience, we had caught some Jellyfish as well.

Area wise, we are pretty much very free and easy to party and have fun to reconnect with family member after seclusion from Covid-era.

PS: Fishing Jellyfish is dangerous, unless you had some experience catching one, it is advisable to avoid near this beautiful...

Best homestay. Comfortable stay. Beautiful scenery. Spacious room even for single bed-queen size. Single room can accommodate 4 people but have to rent Xtra bed n etc. If you come to stay bring your Xtra mug, serving dish with cover n a big bowl.,.hehe. But I'm not satisfied with the beach, so rocky that we cannot do our morning jog at the beach. But overall, we really enjoy our stay at...
