OYO 89567 Mostyn Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

i was truly disappointed, and not satisfied with a few things that I had seen here. i was a customer of the room 207, which was the biggest and the most luxury room in the hotel so i was expecting more. i had been here before so i hoped they improved what they were lack of.

what dissapointed me was the water heater. it was not working at all. we had tried to fix it but clearly it needed a professional maintenance rather than the customer, ourselves.

the second thing was the cleanliness. they really HAVE to take care of this matter cautiously. the bed sheets were stained, there were yellow stains on the sheets like we wouldn't notice?

the smell of the room was a bit unpleasant. i mean, they knew we were about to check in today but they did not do another clean up? the smell really bothered us, we even had to buy our own Dettol spray and opened the window to freshen up the air.

the water bidet wad also broken, it was not really a problem because they provided us another alternative (diper and bucket).

we know that the hotels usually provide the bathroom utensils; soaps, lotion, etc. that is a basic thing hotels would have, right? well they did too but the quality is saddening and so below my expectation.

the hospitality was horrible too. they did not give us stuffs like, heater, home phone, instant beverages...

i just hope they take comments like mine as something to improve their service and all. they...

Apart from the comfy bed, there are many things that needed to be done to improve this hotel rating. There are strong smell of dampness from the moment you step in to this hotel. From the receptionist to your hotel room, the smell is bearable but it shouldn't have in a hotel. The room we got after check in is likely never been thoroughly clean as you can feel dusty floor, wet bathroom, and worn out bed linens. They provide shower with hot water that is good, but water bidet on toilet is broken. The hose has holes and when using the hose the water pressure wets the walls which end up wets me. 😂 malfunction water bidet. They did provide soap for bath but, its quite sad seeing the soap which half from standard. Extra pillow. Nope, you cant get an extra pillows in this hotel when the hotel is almost fullhouse. I'm not sure of if vice versa. Overall, they can improve on cleanliness of this hotel. That's the utmost things customers needed when looking...

A clean, quiet and safe hotel to stay. The workers at the front of the counter and ground staffs are very friendly. There was just a water problem when I stayed here but they were able to solve it quickly. Another good thing when staying here is that the hotel provides a small space for dining and this is something interesting. Overall I give it three stars and this thing can still...
