OYO HOME 90641 Naga Puri Beach Retreat — Hotel in Borneo

I went there in July 2018. Booked direct with the property owner. I had dinner with him and one european family who stayed there. The dinner was cooked by local. We have to make our own breakfast. Nothing fancy with the room. Bed, bedside table and that's it. The bathroom only equipped with heater and toilet. The location is secluded. It's a pity that it's raining during my stay. So the sea view is dimmed by clouds. Check in and check out is informal. There was an American lady who gave me the room key. Upon check out, the owner only asked for RM150 and waived the extra RM90 as indicated in the booking...

Terrible system and poor service. The owner didn’t agree with the room rate listed on OYO via Booking.com and demanded cash payment upon check-in. As a result, the payment made through the system was completely wasted.

Why list the property on OYO if you’re not going to honor the advertised prices? This caused so much inconvenience to us as customers. We were forced to pay in cash because the owner refused to accept the lower rate shown in the system. Extremely frustrating!
