Brought my family there with young children. I have to say my stay there was the worst i ever stayed in JB. Price during the Sat-Sun period was also expensive for King bed room at around SGD70+, but i had no more choice for last min booking. Arriving at the hotel, you already know what you are getting yourself into. The open air carpark gives you the feeling that your car might not be there the next day, as it is in an industrial area. Checking in staff always not around also. Now to the important part - the room. I booked 2 rooms, 1 for my family and other for a single family friend. Both rooms the bed smelled of mold. I opened the pillows and looked under the covers and they were all YELLOW. There was also a cigarette burn on one of the sheets. I was not sure if my son was going to get bitten by bed bugs or not so i spent the whole night half asleep. Good things - short drive at Gelang patah and there are places for eating prata late at night. Conclusion:- Dont mind secluded location, but at least keep it clean please. Our pyjamas still smelled of the moldy smell when we were staying at another hotel the next night. Felt like heaven over at the other hotel. The toilets i can see are recently renovated and still ok. There is also no drinking...
Read moreabsolutely horrible. we checked in for two rooms and they say they only accept cash as payment; no qr, no cards. the area around the hotel feels eerily and very quiet even in the afternoon. there are plenty of unopened stores around this area with alot of foreigners just roaming around. my mother had booked two rooms; one for me and my two sisters and one for my parents and smaller siblings. one room couldn’t be unlocked and my dad had to go back down to ask the receptionist. took more than 30 minutes for them to come up and open the door. i was already irritated by this point.
when it was finally opened, air conditioning was bad. the lowest temperature was still hot. the wallpapers were peeling, the lock of one window in the bathroom was broken. the tap water was rusty, bathroom door couldnt even be opened properly. stained bathroom walls. I’ve been to so many cheap hotels and I have to say this is the WORST i’ve ever been to. the false advertisement is insane. ruined my whole day to be honest. the hotel staff weren’t very friendly. as soon as i walked in, i knew i had to complain about this whole horrific experience. its just...
Read moreThe last time i went there was before pandemic.. I must say things were better for the hotel's business. Well obviously! The thing that i can never accept for a hotel whether you are 1 star or no star, cleanliness and customer service should always be the main purpose. After all, the fact that you are allowing people to stay over so that guests feel comfortable, it is the reason why they are paying. We all know hotels are having problems with the reduced of staffs, but if you are ready to take people's money, you should honor it and provide the basic services to your guest. The entrance was already showing what you are going to risk for your stay in this hotel. The lift and the worst part is the carpet along the hall way, I hope they do change and wash the bed sheets wverytime new guests arrive. It doesnt have to be fancy, but at least keep it clean. Location wise is perfect and there are mamak just below the hotel. Very convinient.. Hopefully there will be more travellers who are concern about these matter so that 1 day even the smallest hotel can be recommended by other...
