With the Singapore school holidays ending, all shopping malls and resorts in JB are crowded. So we decided to hit the beach for some sunshine and sea breeze. When I arrived at noon, it looked like rainy clouds had gathered and soon it started to rain cats and dogs. So, we prayed for good weather. At 3.30 pm, the skies cleared and the sunshine blazed high and mighty. Thank God. The resort was packed with campers, mostly young adults and families. Soon BBQ started to fill the air with lamb, beef and chicken grilling non-stop. We also join the crowd and enjoy the picnic with smoking lamb and beef marinated for a full day. Our tummies were full and bowl of hot piping mushroom soup with sourdough bread sealed the deal. Nothing like a good cup of coffee after a nice shower to wash away the sand and sea water. The baths were clean and had nice water pressure. The day ended with peace and calm as we lost daylight. It was time to go home.

Great campsite, shady and clean toilets with ample parking and a small minimart. The cleaners clean both the toilets and onsite rubbish bins daily, so it made our stay pleasant. Gazebos were also very well-maintained. Beach is quiet and clean, it stretches for miles. Not many mosquitoes too so that's a win. Definitely recommend it. For those who doesn't wanna camp, there are other ac options too. - hello from ā˜€ļø Singapore, July 2024

One of the better local beach resort along the east coast of malaysia in terms of facilities and environment. Frequent maintenance rounds by the service staffs to keep the environment clean and tidy. But recommened to bring a portable gas stove or long extension cord for electrical cooking appliances. Bring Toilet rolls too. Astronomy: Still possible to see faint glow of milkyway during clear skies at the beach.

We enjoyed our stay very much!! The resort staff were extremely responsive on WhatsApp - and always around at reception even until 10pm when we needed assistance.

There’s cold/hot water dispenser, snacks/drinks to purchase and communal fridge for use (no pork/lard). Sinks with soap to wash groceries/cookery easily. Rented a BBQ pit for RM30. Apparently there’s seafood to purchase just a short distance down the road (do ask the staff!!). Overall a really well thought through and managed campsite šŸ•ļø

Next time we would like to try the wood huts šŸ›– which were fully booked out during our stay - common toilets were really close...

I would rate Eco Bay Resort 5 stars! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The beach was well-maintained, with staff constantly cleaning, and the trash bins were replaced with new bags every night.

We stayed in a stilt house, which had air conditioning. During the day, it was very comfortable because there were many trees providing shade. It was nice and cool, with the sea breeze blowing and the sound of the waves in the background—such a wonderful experience.

I've been to many nearby places for camping or staying in chalets, and this is one of the most satisfying...
