Endau Beach Resort — Hotel in Johor

Well, this Beach Resort is well deserving to get 5 stars 🌟 Firstly, I've been well entertained by the receptionist🤗 She's such gem 💎 type of person as she took good care of me while my stay at their resort because I'm pregnant 🤰 and the way she take care of me is totally undescribable by words❤️ Also, she held my hands when walking to the car 🚗.

In accordance with that, she never failed to provide me with underground room as she wouldn't wanted to see me walking above the hill for second floor rooms! She assign her staffs to get ready with a (Garden view) room as I requested as soon as I asked for it!

Apart from that, the room service was a 50/50 as there's kettle with 2 cups, and 2 soap 🧼 only. And they'll provide towels and room key 🔑 which you've to return when checking out! It's not a luxurius Resort though, but still you can manage if you're a normal rider or camping folk who doesn't requires much facilities upon staying at anywhere.

Even, I ended up there just because couldn't travel much while pregnant as it's a heavy traffic jam when planning to move out to our destination. Still, the joy I had when staying in the room was fantastic 👌

I'm super excited to see the beach from window🪟 😍 And in the evening, had a great time with my beloved hubby while having such a heavy wind near the window. I didn't even close the windows until bedtime. That soft breeze of air coming out through our window 🪟 was such a delightful combination.

Other than that, there's a walking distance food stalls nearby the sea and may walk around the sea 🌊 while enjoying 🎶 and fishing 🎣 and as well as you can see a few more islands 🏝 from here. There's a car parking lot for customers ya.

A beachfront property. However the resort is not well maintained. Surrounding area looks gloomy. The is also new building constructions in the resort area so you can expect the surrounding look at bit off. I believed with a bit more touch up and improving maintenance, this resort will surely look wow!. We had problem with the first family room that we checked in. The smell of the room is terrible. Obviously maintenance and housekeeping staffs were not doing their work properly. Luckily the second room that we get in was okay, but we had to climbed up to the room using stairs which was very steep. Imagine yourself carrying luggage and stuffs and at the same time have to watch out your steps. There is no towels in the room, no iron and only one small bar of soap to be used by 4 of us. Luckily I brought my own shower foam. I tried calling the direct number but all ended up with CALL ENDED TILL THE NEXT DAY. I went down on my own and asked for towels. The toilet door can't be locked. Broken console table too. The small fridge is smelly too. At night the was something wrong with the aircond. It's red and orange light were blinking. I've checked on the internet, it say the is serious issue if it's blinkibg like that. So we just turned it off for the whole night. Disappointed 🥴🥴🥴. Surprisingly in the morning at around 7.00 am, it was okay till we checked out. I paid RM190 for the room and I didn't think it's worth it. Went here with a big group (10 rooms) over the last weekend. In my personal POV the location is perfectly fine, facing the sea and island view. Surrounding there’s a great spot up the hill for photo taking. There’s also a public beach, jetty and hawker centre nearby. The rest are country side viewing. I believed it’s a family owned property, looked pretty rundown resort when you 1st get into the compound, too many maintenance work to list out. Affordable room rates comparing to other company owned properties. Rooms are ok for a short getaway for me, suitable for 3-4 pax. Pool is nice to swim. Surrounding cleanliness and hygiene can be improved. No sign of rodents or roach but there’s mozzies noticeable at few spots (get ready your own mosquito repellant & anti-mosquito coils). Yes there are troop of monkeys will come and visit the property from time to time whenever there’s left over/unattended food on the table. No Phone coverage (but that is telcos issue) and weak WiFi (property should consider for upgrading) Some rooms c/w water heater is not workable. Staff are friendly, informative, accommodative, helpful (especially Miss Ana). Property is suitable for those who appreciate urban nature, kampong spirit, fishing khakis, going for island hoping, snorkeling and healing lol. Not for fussy/picky travelers or visitors.
