Read moreWe have checked in on the labour day for 3 days and 2 nights. The place was nice, we brought our kid here as he wants to play at the beach. We have paid the room for about 600++ ringgit for the whole trip which I seen it as overpriced cause there are more nice place that has rooms priced at less than 300 ringgit per night such as Le Grandeur Resort at Senai. The room we checked in was old. The cosmetic view inside the room was old, it brings you back to early 2000s and the chair provided did torn my wife clothes because of staplers exposed on the chair. The bathroom door was broken and the toilet was not looking like a good 3 stars hotel. The menu provided for breakfast is the same malay cuisine which I think is quite outdated. This is because for 3 stars resort, they should prepare a full line of cuisines i.e. western, asian at least. Then, the service was not good because the when I need to change the towel, the housekeeping is not available not until 12 at noon which to me personally seems a bit off. Then the last part was the pool. At the pool side, they didn't clean the chlorine that they have used at the pool. Due to that, it damages my clothes and make it looks spots of bleach on the back of my pants. I have reported to the owner but he just tell that he will clean it and will take a look at it which to me is not what I expected. The only good thing that I can remember of is the sceneries. The view of the sunrise and...
Read moreDrove 1.5hrs via route 3 from singapore. Greeted warmly by the staff checking in was a breeze. Got a deluxe room for myself and my 3 kids. Parked the car right in front of the door. Room was basic, a king sized bed and a day bed. Had a/c and a ceiling fan. Had a tv with only 2 channels on it tv1 and tv2. No wifi. No toothbrush nor toothpaste. Was given 2 bath towels at the reception. But when u open the sliding door to go to the balcony... wow the view.. the beach was clean and quiet. Fine sand not white though. Went swimming at the beach it was nice the kids had fun. The swimming pool was ok too. There was an activities hut but it was unmanned and unkept. They had bows and arrows kayaks and paddles in that hut. We had dinner at mersing town which was about 10mins drive away. Food in town was good and they had lots of convenience stores around. Back to the resorts listening to the waves really put you to sleep. Breakfast was terrible... nasi lemak and greasy fried noodles. There were people fishing from the beach and pulling in one croaker after another. Overall, at that price for the room, it was a decent stay. If asked if ill return, ill say yeah for a quiet weekend with the kids but this time ill bring my fishing...
