The Impiana Group operates several hotels in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. It has three properties in Malaysia namely Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Johor Bahru. Opened in 2017, Impiana Hotel Senai, as the name suggests, is a 10mins (8.6km) car ride from Senai International Airport. It costs about RM10 with a ride-hailing service from the hotel to the airport. On the other hand, travelling from Johor Immigration & Customs to the hotel costs about RM24.||There is a RM10 tourism tax payable to the Front Desk during the check in registration. However, there is no deposit required for hotel incidentals during the stay here. The rooms at this property start from the 3rd to 8th level. The Club Rooms and lounge are on level 9. I had booked the Deluxe Room and was accommodated in Room No. 711. The room view offered by this hotel is unique because the front of the hotel faces a Chinese cemetery. If you are uncomfortable with this view, I recommend making a request to the front desk team. On the other hand, the view at the back of the hotel faces a construction site. My room view is partially blocked by the wall of the hotel building, though I am still able to see the cemetery, which I am fine with it.||The Wi-Fi connectivity worked well during my stay. The room does not offer a SMART TV. Therefore, you can only enjoy local, Singapore and selective cable TV programmes in the comfort of your room. However there is a screen mirroring function. There are two USB charging ports and a universal power socket at the bedside for your mobile device charging needs. The showering experience is good, which the water pressure is strong and there is adequate hot water.||The hotel offers the following facilities on the second level:| |1. I'd requested for room decoration (husband birthday) by phone call in Saturday but the reception staff ask me to make a call on Monday Morning (before check-in time). But I didn't manage to make a call in the morning since I'm busy in the office. So I just straight away go to the Reception at 1 pm (during lunch hour) together with the decoration things (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALPHABETS FOIL & FLAG LINE + PUMP TO INFLATE THE BALLOON) I bring my own things & just make a favor to the staff to just inflate the balloons & hang it on the room's wall because I decided to check-in at 7 pm to surprise my husband. Unfortunately, the reception staff refused to accept the order & keep discussing with the Sales Person on the phone whether or not to accept my order. He also questioning me why I'm not make the decoration order for at least a day before. I'd explain to him that I'd made a phone call on Saturday but the staff ask me to call by Monday as the Sales staff not there at that moment I called.Since too many excuses given by the staff & seems like they not sure to handle my request so I decided to do the decoration work by myself within 30 minutes time only.

We also felt a bit upset at the time we reached the Hotel at 6.30 PM & decide to have an early dinner at The Tiffin, We are quite surprise that nobody there & nobody welcome us. I need to ask the staff at the Reception area to call the Restaurant's staff to take an order. The service from the staff in the Restaurant was too slow from taking the order until serving the foods. Please imagine that we only managed to get our 1st meal after waiting for about 40 minutes & managed to get all the foods ordered within 1 hour time. I'm not sure why the service was too slow as we're the only family there at that time. Luckily the food taste was nice & good. Credit to the Chef!

While in the room, the mattress & pillows are too hard. There is no glass door fixed in the toilet & make the water from the shower area go to the other side and also the water holes was clogged and the water cannot flow well. Maybe this is what we deserve for the cheapest room worth RM170/night.

Hope for better...

🌟 By far the BEST hotel experience I’ve had in Senai! 🌟 We checked in late at 1:30am, exhausted from the journey, but the moment we stepped into the lobby we were greeted with warm smiles and assistance with our luggage. The lobby itself felt so welcoming, fresh, and fragrant—it instantly lifted our spirits. At reception, Ms. Nurin attended to us with such efficiency and care, knowing we were tired. She quickly completed the check-in, explained about breakfast and entitlements, and made the whole process a breeze. The bellboy then kindly helped deliver our luggage to the room. Walking through the corridors, I was amazed at how fresh and pleasant everything smelled—such a lovely detail! And then the room… oh my, absolute perfection. Clean, fresh, beautifully designed, and those towels—crisp, spotless, and smelling amazing. It was everything I hoped for and more. The next morning, breakfast was another highlight. The host at the café welcomed us warmly, the coffee was excellent, and the food selection was satisfying. Afterward, I explored the pool and gym—the pool area is stunning with a relaxing vibe, while the gym, though small, is well-equipped with quality machines. A special shoutout to Ms. Zhi Ying at reception on level 9. I asked if she could arrange a hotel and room tour for my next trip, and without hesitation, she happily agreed. She walked me through everything, explaining the facilities and details with such professionalism and kindness. Her effort truly made my stay feel extra special—thank you, Zhi Ying! Finally, I must say the entire team at the lobby—the receptionists, bellmen, and doormen—deserve recognition. Each one of them greeted me warmly with a smile, creating such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere throughout my stay. 💯 Overall, this hotel ticks every box: warm hospitality, fresh and clean ambiance, excellent facilities, and staff who go above and beyond. Absolutely loved it and will definitely return!

Honestly, I've been eating at Tiffin countless times. Be it with family, or with friends. Since your lunch buffet was at 19.90/pax, until now. However, today's dinner is kinda disappointing. I have to say, the food is good. But the service today disappointed me a lot. Went to dinner with a family of 7, with 7 menus (+1 considered as entries - which is mushroom soup). However, the first one that arrived from our ordered list was the mushroom soup which took almost an hour. And our full table completed after about 1 and half hours. With 1 incorrect order the Salmon Steak - which is supposed to be Fish & Chips. We accepted it anyway as we're hungry and have been waiting too long. And we still insist on sending the Fish & Chips to our table. However, it didn't arrive until we decided to leave as it's already close to 10pm (can see the google timeline attached). It makes me believe that, the staff keyed-in the wrong order from the beginning but not professional enough to tell us about it - waiting for us to cancel the menu on our own. Because, when we made our order the waiter double checked with the kitchen and informed us that there was one portion left for the Fish & Chips, and we agreed to order on that. For almost 1 1/2 hour to complete our table, for me it's ridiculous. When we asked about our food, we were told that there were many orders in the queue. Maybe from the hotel room, because in the dining area I think there were only 3 @ 4 tables occupied. Oh, almost forgotten - I dunno how the kitchen even has the cheek to serve a partially burnt crackers to the customer (for the Ayam Lemak Cilipadi's set). Why I still eat it? Because I was HUNGRY. I dunno if you're short staffed, because of the festive holiday. But still, the waiting period is unacceptable for a hotel restaurant. So, service today is just not up to the standard and I left with a dissatisfied feeling, that I have not felt before.
