We booked 2 premier deluxe king rooms for a 1 night's stay. Water pressure for shower was good and the heater worked very well. Clean kettle, teabags, coffee, hairdryer and room slippers were provided. TV can be improved to provide more English channels. Breakfast was very poor. Personally for me, lack of variety is not an issue because I'd adjust my expectations accordingly. But lack of variety can be made better by ensuring the taste and quality of food provided. For main hot food, there was only fried rice, fried noodles and a weird oily dish medley of sausage, chicken and potatoes. Unfortunately the food were cold and just didnt taste pleasant. Bread (no toaster) and spread plus a couple of fruits and desserts were also provided. I finally understood why there was only 2 other guests having breakfast with us although the night before, the staff told us that the hotel's occupancy was full. I'd take that RM12 and buy prata meal elsewhere. ||||Across the road, there is quite a big convenience store should you wanna grab anything. Otherwise the Batu Pahat Mall is less than 5 min's drive. ||||I would come back to this hotel for the location and also because they...
Read moreThe place is not hard to find, just right next to Batu Pahat Mall. We arrived late (around 6pm) to check-in, little misunderstanding at the counter but it was quickly resolved. The entrance and the settings are quite nice, staff were friendly too. When I reached the floor it's a bit hard to find the room as inside is light a maze with lots of corners to turn here and there. Luckily, visible signs are available for directions. Room is a bit small, but with the price we paid it's quite reasonable. All is new and clean, with small closet, TV and all, it'll be good to install a mini bar fridge for guest to store some cold drinks etc, Bathroom showers all functioning well. Beddings are comfortable and clean. Aircons works well too. The TV has no channel but we made do the night with our own movies (with own HDMI cable connected to our laptop). Breakfast is provided but choices are very limited and food is a bit cold. Other than that, overall the experience is quite good. Would definitely be my choice of my future...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is ok. It is near to the biggest mall in Batu Pahat, about 550m away. Still need to drive there as the walking paths are not convenient. The staff are very pleasant from the Malay lady at the check-in counter and Justin in the dining restaurant, Moxie. He agreed to change the fried rice to a vegetarian one for my son. Really appreciate it. Fried rice was nice and the chrysanthemum tea was freshly made. The price is reasonable and comes with breakfast. The only issue is the room which has some damages to the wall and it is a bit crammed for three adults. And the internet speed sucks while in the room to the extent it was not working. But it was fast in the lobby and the restaurant. But overall, itâs...
