We had wanted to stay near the Kukup Jetty where all the Seafood restaurants are, but most homestays or so-called Kelong chalets need at least 10 pax. So we decided to stay at this place where it is around 10mins drive away from the Jetty. ||||We tried emailing the resort directly asking for rates but no reply. In the end we booked through Expedia. We got ourselves a Family suite (two-bedroom) and a Deluxe Suite (twin sharing).||||Check-in was easy and quick as there were no other guest. Staff at the counter was very nice and friendly. We unloaded our luggage at the main hall, but was told that the Suites were actually a distance away. We load our luggage back in the car and drove for another 3mins further into the property after check-in. Along the way we spotted a 2 meter long monitor lizard!||||Our Family suite was located right in front of the parking area. There were 3 units facing the carpark and our unit was the middle one (The haunted one). It was a bit run down and the living room is not air-conditioned. The two bed rooms were big with single-split aircon in each room. ||||The Deluxe Suite seems to be in better condition, but the air-con was placed in a corner where the cold air was not able to cool the huge room. The ceiling fan got to be on the whole time in order for the room to be cooling.||||BF was a bit pathetic with just fried bee hoon, sausages and fried eggs, plus diluted coffee, tea and orange WATER (not juice). The amount of flies is 10 times more than the number of people in the resort. That is of course due to the fact that there are very few guest in the resort. We only saw two other families during our 2D stay there.||||After we check out, my sister told me that she did not sleep well as she heard something crawling on the rooftop in the middle of the night. They were staying at the Family suite while me and my hb was staying in the Deluxe suite behind their unit. And it seems she is not the only person who heard it. My niece and my brother also heard it in the other room. We brush it off saying it could be monkey or some bird, or it's probably snakes. But who knows?||||Saying that, I don't think we will return (My sister for...

I stayed with my family for few days for short family vacation. ||Pros:||1). The resort is at the main road. Easy to spot.||2). Good for golfer (maybe?)||3). Friendly receptionists||4). Peaceful and quiet place, recommend for anyone who seek for peace and quiet getaway||5). There's swimming pool, good for kids. (We didn't go there though)||||Cons:||1). Lack of signboard and directions for the villas and reception place. Should place it at the roundabout after the gate||2). Can upgrade more decoration at the reception. Probably provide some refreshments and jazz or soothing musics at the hall for relaxing vibes||3). Need to provide sport restaurant at evening and night during holiday season because it's really hard to find good food at the evening outside. ||4). Need to provide better TV channel, maybe sport channel for local and international. ||5). Breakfast need to be upgrade. Just nasi lemak and kue teaw goreang are not impressive enough for a "resort". ||5). Need to upgrade the surrounding, trim the grass and clean up. It looks scary due to unattended surrounding. ||6). More service for luggage and elderly since the villas are quite far away from the parking alot. ||||Overall, it was a decent experience. I had high expectation since it's "resort" and the room price was quite high. I went to Penang and Sabah got decent hotel with...

The course is conveniently located, about 20m to the left after passing Socend Lunk.

The last 10km before reaching the course is a narrow and dangerous single-track road surrounded by forest.

The course is very spacious, and the course management is interesting. The lack of crowds makes it a great place for a practice round. Weekends are also reasonably priced at MYR 140, making it convenient.

Given the low price, don't expect much in the way of facility maintenance. The fairways and greens are somewhat untidy. The green is uneven, and on some holes, the fairway green is extremely long. If you miss the fairway and your ball ends up in the rough or around a tree, it's incredibly difficult to find. Even if you do, it's often covered in mud. If your ball falls into a hazard, you'll never see it again, as the water is covered in black oil.

Regardless, the course is attractive for its location and price, but surprisingly, it's...

Golf course really suffering for lack of attention, money and also compounded by lack of investment overall. COVID would not adversely impact as the number of tourists coming would be limited Issues also include allowing poor practices by players, e.g. too many people to ride buggies on fairways after heavy rain, also sand for repairing divots not used, and the sand has grass growing inside at most holes, drainage an issue in many places, but a round here is cheap, and get a cart. Some holes good. Many older Koreans visit this course, some stay two weeks!! Facilities in very poor condition, or not available at club house. Resort - rooms are very, very dated. Very basic. We had connecting room to family so difficult to get good sleep, some bungalows not available due to condition. Won’t be back again.

We went swimming on weekdays and it cost RM15 per person, with free admission for infants. What can I say, the pool is quite lovely and well-kept. Additionally, the view is fantastic. But their bathroom is really DIRTY and poorly maintained. The shower was really unclean and had no water. IT IS UNCOMFORTABLE TO SHOWER AND CHANGE CLOTHES RIGHT THERE. 👎👎👎 AND IT’S KINDA CREEPY TOO. NOT SAFE IF YOU’RE ALONE. PLEASE RENOVATE YOUR WASHROOM.
