MILUX HOTEL — Hotel in Johor

I booked a triple room at Milux Hotel, Muar for a business trip and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel environment is clean, bright, and well-maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Location-wise, it’s convenient — there’s a pasaraya right opposite (though I didn’t go), and plenty of food options nearby such as Pizza Hut, Marrybrown, Mixue, Family Mart, Watsons, and a few mamak stalls. Parking is not an issue. The area has quite a lot of foreigners, but I felt safe throughout my stay.

The room itself is spacious and comfortable. The TV comes with Netflix, and I especially liked the mirrors — one with lighting in the corner near the clothes area (not facing the bed, which is a thoughtful detail), and another in the bathroom. The bathroom is big, equipped with a bathtub, and the water pressure is strong. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided by the hotel’s own OEM brand, and they smell nice.

Housekeeping does a great job — towels are changed upon request, rubbish is cleared daily, and the room is kept very clean. The mattress was comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too soft for me (the only downside).

One thing to note is that the hotel isn’t in the city center. It took me about 20–25 minutes to drive to Muar town for the popular food spots recommended online.

Went here with my friend to attend a wedding at Muar. This hotels is a decent ine considering the low price. It’s a newly opened hotel as there are flower bouquets at the reception area. The condition of the room is excellent, very clean with nice ambiance, but we could hear musics from room nearby, the sound proof is quite bad. The location is a good one, as there are DIY and groceries market nearby, and also some restaurants there, quite convenient for those staying at the hotel. Stayed at this hotel during our visit to muar. The hotel is quiet new. Everything looks modern and clean. The room size was a bit small but its worth the price. Clean towels and good amenities. Target Supermarket is just opposite the hotel. There is Watson, Mr. DIY, Mixue, and some other outlets nearby the hotel. And there is coway waterfilter in every floor but the lobby was so hot (i think the airconditioner is not function). Worth the value and very recommended...
