We had a wonderful time during our visit there.
The management was helpful, the staffs were friendly and polite and the scenery was beautiful. We tried a very simple dinner since we had a heavy lunch earlier. It was nice. My daughter who is such a picky eater finished all her food. Thus to us, that is a good indicator. We had nasi lemak for breakfast and it was delicious. However, meals needed to be booked in adavance, upon checking in or before 4 pm. For the note, the food is a bit pricey.
We really enjoyed the breeze while eating at the cafe. You can see the sea horizon while you take a dip at the swimming pool. However, the rocky beach is not suitable for swimming.
For cityfolks like us, we chose to be there because we want something different from our normal life. Please do not expect a modern room there. The rooms are chalet style, made of bricks. To us, that is not an issue as it was clean.
We booked a pondview suite and as the name denotes, the room faces a pond which offers some activities to those interested.
The room was nice and spacious, with basic amenities. If you want to use iron, just call the number provided and it will be sent to you.
The were monkeys looking for food, but they don't disturb you, unless you provoked them.
We tried the e-bike and was really enjoying our time. We have to admit that only my husband can ride a bike. As for me and our daughters, the only bike we ride, would be the indoor exercise bike. So we enjoyed our time trying to learn to ride a bike at the field there. Of course, the 40 minutes course did not make us experts.
Since we are staying in the pondview suite, we can park in front of our room. However, if you choose to stay in other rooms, then you have to park nearby the guard house. The road to our unit was very coarsed and bumpy.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and might consider another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually donāt do reviews and ratings but for this one, Iām sorry I have to. I booked the deluxe suit for 3D2N and man was it disappointing.. apart form the nice staff and the pretty good food.. the place wasnāt taken care of properly, the toilet was smelly and the walls isnāt cleaned properly, the towel had stains the bed sheets also had stains and the room wasnāt presentable at all, so much dust (and this was the better room, oh so I thought) the toilet door canāt be closed we had to use a chair at the back to keep it kinda close. I paid rm600 for 2 nights and it was not worth it honestly, super over priced for that kind of room and facilities. On top of that, activities and food are all separate bill. The WORST part was that they had this group of 15 men who took over the whole pool for the whole day evening (when theyāre only allowed 1 hour according to the rules), so we didnāt get to use the pool cause weāre girls and we donāt want to be in a pool full of gross men.. and ON TOP OF THAT they just kept blasting their speakers with annoying songs all day.. started at 7am in the morning.. NO CONSIDERATION AT ALL. The management didnāt do anything.. but really they should banned those big speakers from the resort and actually donāt be lenient with the rules and regulations for the sake of others who are PAYING to stay there. It was suppose to be relaxing but it ended up bad cause of these disturbances. FYI. The ATV trail only took 20mins for RM90 each. Again, not worth it. Just remember to bring mosquito repellent if youāre going there and all the best. For me, Iām never going back there again. Wish you all the best and please do improve for that level of price.. it should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights because we wanted to return here after being here 29 years ago for our honeymoon. Back then it was called āLe Club Sediliā. It was nice to catch up with one of the staff here who has been with this establishment since that time. Now onto the review.
If you are looking for a quiet place to disconnect, to getaway from the bustling rush of city life, or for a spiritual retreat to refresh and reset, this is the place you need to consider. It is nestled deep in Sedili Besar and sits atop of a cliff overseeing the South China Sea. Youāll need your own trailer to get here. We rode our motorcycle in. Do take note that there is NO WIFI PROVIDED and you need to rely on your mobile data but there are times the signal is weak or drops altogether. That didnāt bother us. My wife and I stayed in the Glamping Suite. We loved it as it was cosy and clean, and the bathroom is very spacious.
If you are someone who needs lots of amenities, wifi, 5 star accommodation with room service at your back and call, I say look elsewhere. This will not be what you are looking for. This is a simple, rustic, down to earth, kampung feel resort. You are one with nature and thatās it. Itās really great for couples in my opinion although the management did share that they have church and corporate groups who book from time to time for their organisations. Ala in all, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. Thank you Sea Horizon...
