Poor management: Our booking was missed despite full payment made earlier. When we arrived, our tent wasn’t even set up. The person-in-charge informed us that “out of 100, there’s bound to be one mistake”, but unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. Several other guests faced the same issue. Pity the staff who had to scramble to set up tents without proper notification from the management. Food issues: We placed our food order at 11 a.m, but by the time we were served at 1 p.m, the nasi goreng kampung had gone bad. As for the pulut durian, some parts of the durian were already sour. Unhygienic and cramped camping site: The campsite was not well maintained - sinks were broken and unrepaired, water overflowed due to blockages, and plug points were scattered far apart, requiring long extensions. Camping lots were too close to each other, only about 2 feet apart, with zero privacy. Inadequate toilets: Only 3 toilets for women and 3 for men. The queues were long, especially for showers. No improvements in facilities despite complaints. On top of that, too many day-trip guests were allowed in, affecting the comfort and privacy of overnight campers, even though we paid a premium price. Poor environment maintenance: The parking area, surrounding bushes, and tall grass were poorly maintained and unsightly. Thanks to Abang Hizami, the person-in-charge on site who did his best to manage the chaos, despite the poor system from the top management.
We truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests. It’s never easy to voice complaints, but hopefully this helps raise awareness for much-needed change. We came with high hopes, but unfortunately left with more disappointment...

Read moreLast Friday, there were four of us who booked a campsite at Pangsun Last Exit. The facilities were complete — there’s a sink for washing dishes, plug points, and toilets with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with things like getting ice and charcoal. The campsite also provides a trolley to carry your stuff from the car, which was really convenient.
We stayed at campsite RC07. However, I’d suggest avoiding campsites located beside the family home because there are a few dogs around. During our BBQ, the dogs kept barking — probably asking for food. Later at night, while we were asleep, they rummaged through the rubbish and scattered it all over our campsite. That was quite uncomfortable, so I’d advise not leaving any items or rubbish outside overnight.
As for the river, don’t set your expectations too high — it’s quite shallow for adults, but suitable for kids to play in. It’s not ideal for swimming, more like just soaking your body.
Overall, it was still a good...
