Beris Palm Lake Resort — Hotel in Kedah

We were at the lakeside for a two-day course Disaster Volunteers organised by Khidmat Malaysia Kedah. It was held in preparation for the disasters occuring throughout the peninsula in the near future. There were talks/briefing given by the Fire and Rescue Services Department (Bomba), the Civil Defence Department (JPAM) and a well-known figure on Food Safety, Chef Din.

The JPAM conducted "Water Rescue" training which received overwhelming participation and response from participants. Among dignitaries who were in attendance were Major(Retd.) Mansor Zakaria, Ustaz Munir Zakaria, both State Excos, Senator Ustaz Musoddaq and the State Khidmat Malaysia Director Ustaz Nurul Amin Abd. Hamid, the MP for Padang Terap,

It rained almost throughout the course and the camp site was inundated with water which made the ground muddy and slippery. Nevertheless, everyone stayed until the end and were enlightened with many things which were hitherto rather unknown to them.

Overall the course was a great success and achieved its target of passing information to the 200-odd...

this places very nice and good for realease tension,this place swiming pool and can go around lake...
