Hotel Mesra — Hotel in Kedah

One of good budget hotel. Looks average outside, but inside, especially the room was clean, cozy, relatively Inexpensive . The room they provided instant chocolate drinks & a Nata De Coco dessert. The hotel was just two storay high, so no elevator. If you chose second floor rooms, there were two type of window views.. One view had paddy fields with mosque.. & second view had street & villagers houses.. Expected to heard 5 times prayer call, non Muslims may asked to switch rooms farther. The mosque just beside the hotel. There are many cafes restaurants nearby especially char Koetiaw.. They also had self Service laundry nearby too. Ample parking space. Friendly & helpful staffs. I chose this hotel as many of the reviews mentioned it is clean. Yes it is clean and comfortable and peaceful. It is not in Alor setar town but located in Langgar. The building exterior is not so appealing though. But i do not mind it as it is not an important factor for me to choose a hotel. Room is fairly comfortable in size, with good shower (the toilet is clean too). Bed and pillows are comfortable too....

Stayed for 2nights with kids. Nice, clean and cozy motel. The little patio outside of our room is a nice place to hang out and chat at night. Car is parked right in front of your room is a bonus when having a lot of stuff to bring into the room. The motel is at the outskirts of town. So, it is advisable to have your own transport.
