Hotel Seri Baling Inn — Hotel in Kedah

The outside didn't look that wow but for the price paid for a night stay, I'd say it's definitely worth it! The interior, well it's simple yet trying to boast that 'classy' look.

TV is great, many interesting channels. Wardrobe without doors but I don't think anyone would ever need that for a temporary stay, so yea not a problem. Decent toilet, practical I'd say. Noisy water heater but still delivers hot water well.

I never like the lightings. One switch and like all 4 lights blast the room. Would prefer if there could be like a warm light at a corner or a side or side table lamps, creating the cosy ambience when u feel like it instead of a glaring one.

Great breakfast, not disappointed. Simple and nice. Local Nasi Lemak an Mee Goreng. Toast available as well along with the usual black coffee and tea with sweetened creamer.

Simple, practical. For what you'd be paying for, I'd say it's worth it....

Both room and bathroom are spacious. You could see some damage due to passage of time but otherwise it was kept pretty well. Definitely worth the money. They provided Tv (though not that functional), wifi and basic amenities. The hotel compound could look a bit scary if you came by at night like i did (the entrance looks a bit disrepair). They really need to work harder on maintenance. Location wise, If you came to Baling by bus, you need to get a transport to get there. Its high...

Overall the room is quite good. The only bad things happen to me was, I’m a cyclist. We need to climb the small slope to reach our hotel. Hahaha The reception was not there when we want to check out around 7am, as we forgot to mention about it the day before. Luckily the owner was there and help us to do the checkout.
