Sedim Rainforest Resort Kulim Kedah Malaysia — Hotel in Kedah

Though the Resak3 2-rooms unit having only 1 small shower cubicle plus toilet that accommodated 8 of us in a family (max 10 pax), it was clean, fully air-conditioned & comfortable. (Duly noted that additional toilet was being added to the unit) It could benefit from simple water pipe at the entrance stairs to wash off our feet from dirtying the units with sands & dirt.

Despite heavy rain throughout the nights till early hours throughout our stay duration & limited our ventures, we did managed to use few of the outdoor activities offered : white water rafting was thrilling, without compromising safety by experienced local guides, canopy walk : was eye opener, nature-inspired pool

Can't asked much from the simple but sumptuous breakfast of: 'nasi lemak' with hard boiled egg, deep dried anchovies & sliced cucumber, roti canai with dhal gravy self-toast sliced white bread with margarine & strawberry jam black coffee & tea

Came here with my family for one night. Kids had a good time playing in the river and going to the Tree Top walk. The resort grounds are clean with direct access to the clean clear river. ||There was power outage for more than 2 hours in the evening and we almost packed our bags to leave. Luckily the power came back at around 8pm. ||Rooms are very basic. No wifi, no data, no telco connection. Cleanliness is bearable. Sandy bathroom, cabinets, bathroom doors definitely need repair. Water pressure for shower is very very low. ||There is only a wall fan, and ventilation is poor if we close the doors for the night. ||Too bad that the cafeteria is half functioning and we had to drive out to buy dinner. |Complimentary Breakfast is fried noodles and toast. ||Bring your own food and enjoy nature. Out trip included a pickup & drop off from Penang. Jasman, the owner, picked us up. Very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very pleasant drive with him. |The resort was in an excellent location, beautiful and you felt relaxed to be there. |Out rafting was done with a very experienced guide and there was a mix of gentle and fast sections. Throughly enjoyable. |We followed onto the tubing, however, Jasman let us zip wire down to the tubes (an added bonus which was great). Tubing was great fun and we throughly enjoyed it. |Lunch was freshly prepared and enjoyable.
