Where to start. This hotel was disgusting! When we arrived we first asked about laundry, the reply we got was a point in the direction. Assuming it was in the room next door, we went in and loaded our clothes. We then got told off for using the hotels machines and was not directed to where we could wash our clothes. |The room was smelly and very dirty. We could’ve made a wig out of the amount of hair we found, the ceiling had mould as well as the shower and mirror seals. The bed sheets were dirty! I would be very surprised if the room was even cleaned before we checked in. As for general cleaning, we looked under the bed as we dropped something and I have never seen this much dust in my life. There was a baby’s toy (not ours) swimming in dust. See the pictures attached. |There are signs posted around the hotel stating ‘no noise after 10pm’ this, of course, is very fair for those who need to be up early and anyone else wanting a good nights sleep. All of the guests obeyed these rules out of respect but the staff did not. We were awoken many times during the night to laughing, loud talking, banging and could hear the whole conversation from the staff members. As a whole we generally found the staff very rude, we would walk into the hotel and the staff wouldn’t even smile back at us. This obviously made us feel very uncomfortable.|All in all, I would not return, I feel like I need to be disinfected after staying and definitely need to catch...
Read moreEverything about this place is modest. Modest pricing, services, room condition, etc.
Finding a parking here is easy enough though you may struggle if you come back too late. The area is rather dark so you'd wanna park as close to the hotel as possible. Remember to download the local Kulim Parking app (or whatever it's called) and pay for your parking rights if you don't want to risk getting penalised the next day (local law enforcers arrives early in the morning to check and issue summons).
The hotel is located right next to the Lotus mall, which is convenient if you need to get some groceries.
Mobile coverage in the room can be horrendous, so you'd want to keep this in mind. If you are coming with people with mobility problem, make sure to ask for a ground level room. There are no elevators (lifts) here.
This hotel may be modest but it's a clean and nice place to stay...
