Appears to be a villa development with units for sale and the unsold units are being rented as part of the GM Villa Resort. You need to come through a security gate to enter the complex so I assume is relatively 'safe'. The check-in process was pleasant and quick. The rooms are very reasonably priced. New accommodations with moderate cleanliness. The furnishings are very sparse - they look like units that are waiting to be sold...so has a very temporary feel. We had room 4990A which was the front room of the last duplex on the road; we could park our car directly in-front of the unit in the covered driveway. The common room does not have AC so was hot and had an odd smell. Our room had the same smell but less and was nice and cold from the AC. It was medium size with tile floor and very sparsely furnished - not even a coat hanger, no toiletries, only one bedside table and no lamps at all (just the overhead light). However there was some water, 2 mugs and 2 instant coffee packets. In the common room is a kettle. The ensuite bathroom is large but very basic with a wet shower on one wall and the drain all the way on the other side so the entire bathroom floor gets wet....something you might excuse in an old building but not a brand new one. Only one bathmat and 2 bath towels were supplied. ||||We had the entire place to ourselves for our one night stay but bear in mind you could end up sharing the common space with at least one other set of guests and maybe two, or a family of four. ||||There is little landscaping on the property - to sit outside we had to take the chairs from inside and sit in the driveway - not very pleasant. There is no kitchen or even refrigerator for guest use. There is no wifi in the villas although is available in the lobby villa. ||||There are no conveniences nearby and is quite away off the main road so I can't imagine staying here without a car... Is fine for an overnight stop-over while driving...

Read moreThe Villa located in the new housing area with quiet environment. It is a semi-D house with three rooms, a living hall and car porch. You can either rent a room or the whole house, however facilities in the house varies with the price that you paid. The living room is very basic but gives you sense of space. The basic unit has no TV and no fridge in the common area. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staffs were friendly and responsive. There were ants in the house especially in the common bathroom and living hall. The management should arrange housekeeping service for guests that stay for more than 2 nights to replenish the drinking water and clear the rubbish in the house. There was wifi but cannot be connected for some reason. Rm50 deposit is required upon check in.||||The Villa is away from the old town/commercial area of Gua Musang and train station, hence it might be inconvenience for guest without their own transportation. Most shops nearby still not occupied yet and those shops/restaurants in operation require a bit a walk...
